The east border of SaddleBrooke is national forest. I've seen a lot of bear game cam picks from that area. Also from between there and Forsyth. A farm that I'm not 100% sure of the location.
I'm still young (at heart) and have a little more time to keep on sinning and having big fun. When it gets a little closer to my time, I probably will need to go to confession. Just joking. But there really are people who think that way.
I just grilled a 1" thick venison burger medium rare and put a cleaned hatch chili on top, Sweet Baby Ray BBQ sauce for the condiment. No bread. Good stuff.
I never warmed up to squirrel hunting with shotguns. .22 LR with a good scope was all I used for many years. Now I own this thing in .22 WMR. It's now used for all things rimfire. That's a Leupold 2x7 compact in the rings.
White Grill in Nevada is one of those places that when you grew up there and you're back in town for some reason, one of their cheeseburgers with grilled onions just has to happen.
Good answer.😎 Kind of like how steel tire/wheels are the thing but rubber hoses and belts are OK on tractors. You Amish types can be real mysterious like.
How then do you excuse Polish Sausage, Bratwurst, Salsiccia, footlong hot dog, etc.? Or do you? What's the brethren position regarding those things that come out of a chicken butt? Do you eat things that come out of a cow's mouth?
It's Hatch chili season. Which also makes it posole season around here. Cubed a pork steak last night let it sit overnight in the fridge in some garlic and S&P. Cleaned the fire roasted chili's I got Saturday at the farmers market. Browned the pork, chopped an onion and three cloves of garlic and let them sweat. Added three cans of yellow hominy and three large peppers diced and seeded. A good healthy teaspoon of better than bullion chicken base, a couple of cans of water. And voila! posole! Stewing for the rest of the afternoon. I love the stuff.
Thinking cheese quesadilla on the grill for a side when the time comes.
Cilantro, sour cream and lime for added flavors to the posole.
