  1. There's a metric ton of them in circulation. The guys that give me an upset stomach are the ones that - oh never mind, you know already.
  2. I drank a little disinfectant last night.šŸ˜Ž
  3. A roll of duct tape! An assortment of rod tips and hot melt glue.
  4. Glad to hear it. They must be a couple of tough old birds!
  5. All those dead VC, Taliban, Daesh and Iraqis might have a little different take on whether AR/M16/M4 is a weapon of war or not.
  6. Those AR types give me a mild upset stomach. Empty threats to answer empty rhetoric. 0+0 still = 0.
  7. How confident are you that having it once, getting well and out and about again will keep you free from getting it again? To me, that's still an open question.
  8. They do eat the tops for a while. Every time I've had them out where they can get to them, like I said, one morning they would just be dug up, eat up and gone. Never seen one/them do it but do know they have that ability!
  9. What's your nightly rate and disposal charges for armadillo control? Also mileage and per diem.

OK then no swai for you. Tilapia no way. Based on experience. Swai OK again, based on experience. But, it's been a good while since I've cooked any fish that I didn't catch myself.

I fry fish on the patio for that same reason. Looks good. If it's white it's right. I've cooked some really good swai. As white as typing paper. Red line even faint one, watch out.

I get that it sounds weird but Chili and milk work some how some way.
  14. Whilst in England, Swede was often served with roasted meats, other veggies and gravy. Every time I was there I ate like a horse and still lost weight.
  15. Who am I to tell you even one thing about deer? Nobody, that's who.šŸ˜”
  16. It's SWEDE!. Came back from England first trip over, had never had it before but loved it. And could not find it here anywhere. And then, one bright shiny day, I figured it out. Gently noticing you are wisely not planting turnips. Those bitter grainy tough dang things are good for a food plot but not much else if you ask me. Deer like them. But it's weird, they don't hardly touch them until one night and then they are all gone. Good luck with the seal, the garden, the mowing and life in general!

Poor folks has got poor ways. We like grits around here. I use chicken base and Lawry's Season Salt in the water. I've settled on Quaker 5 minute grits - but it takes more than five minutes for them to be right, more like 15 to let them fully cook. Leftover grits go on a small plate covered with plastic wrap and in the fridge. Polenta patty!
  18. I've got five tomato plants, one hill of zucchini, one yellow crook neck and one hill of cucumbers in the ground. Tomato cages are in and tied to a t stake. That's it for in the ground. Lovey has a little herb garden and two tomato plants in the old water tank. Gotten lazy here in my dotage.
  19. And everything is close.

  22. Lately I'm getting about three weeks to the gallon.
  23. Is that a banana or a chili pepper?
  24. Just so nobody wonders who reported their post for being political in general chat it was me.
  25. The good stuff.
