I had a similar experience when we lived in Jefferson City. Going home after George Birthington's Washday trip. Pulling a boat and watching it try to pass me on I-44 about five miles west of Marshfield. Wound up going down into the median where the grass straightened everything out and then all cool calm and collected like, just drove back up on the highway. And then started shaking. Talk about could have been worse.... That was before they fenced off crossing into the oncoming lanes. Wow, that was my lucky day.
