Sometimes you just have to go with it's easier to apologize than to get permission. Plus if she's down and you're taking care of everything how is she going to know unless you can't keep your trap shut?
I took a job with Union Electric in the early '80's. Went to lunch at Cunetto's during the interview. Most of the guys I worked with had last names that ended with a , I , or o. Needless to say there were a lot of lunches in that neighborhood. Good times!
The flavors and texture are just not something I've ever had anything even close to anywhere else. I wish I could go there for lunch today. Really happy to know it is still there and in good hands. I honestly thought it was gone.
Its not spicy hot, it's temperature hot genoa salami sliced about 1/4" thick on great Italian bread with cheese and veggies of your choice. I always got mine with pepper jack, tomatoes, onions and lettuce with mayo and spicy mustard.
The original hot salami is absolutely one of my St. Louis Hill all time favorites. Decadance on Italian bread. So good and just nothing like it ever that I have had.
To me, lunker freshwater fish other than crappie and other panfish are 5 lb. plus. They are out there, but rare. That's what makes them a lunker. A 5 lb catfish of anything other than bullhead is most assuredly NOT a lunker. Those guys start at 15 to 25 depending on the species. A lunker paddlefish is 70 plus.
I need to make a Hill run. I just do. Did you ever do the hot salami sandwiches from Gioias? I don't think it's there anymore. It was right across the street from the park.
I had to return an early 10-22 in .22WMR to Ruger. Regular shipping since it's not a buy/sell thing. They couldn't solve the problem, took 10-22 .22WMR off the market and let me have my pick of any rimfire they had. Took a 77-22 stainless with the boat paddle stock in .22WMR. Still one of my favorite rifles and for sure my favorite rimfire. You might get something similar from CZ.
A venison/brie cheeseburger and some marinated mushrooms. And another one of those Heinekens.
I will advise you that a brie cheeseburger is a little on the messy side.
