  1. 4 units running flat out is 15,100 CFS
  2. I noticed Taneycomo was bank full when I crossed over it at Hwy 65 this evening. COE is making some room in TR. Can't say as I blame them. I know the lake manager and he is a smart and cautious guy.
  3. Has The Wild Bunch been mentioned yet? And now for something completely different: Big Trouble in Little China. And the China thing makes me think of Chinatown. Great thread Ness!

You need to take a chill pill or just not click on what you don't like. And that's coming from a friend.
  5. I cross the Finley twice a day every day. If you want reports there I'll be happy to give them.
  6. Midnight Cowboy for just a really sleazy downer of a movie. Makes you feel like warmed over crap. Outlaw Josey Wales, Because I'm from Missouri and it's a real good Clint Treasure of the Sierra Madre. No explanation needed. Deliverance. Another one to make you feel like warmed over crap. Ronin. Another dark one.
  7. The only Coen Brothers movie I rate really high is No Country for Old Men. Give me the original True Grit for example. Qunten Tarantino has made some good stuff. Jackie Brown gets my vote for his best movie.
  8. 1. Citizen Kane 2. To Kill a Mockingbird 3. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid 4. Silverado 5. Unforgiven only five is really hard

Ham and I were fishing the White last Saturday. We were catching a lot of fish, some were bigger than others. I offered the opinion that they were ALL nice fish. Every big fish started out as a little fish. I'm not offended in the least by catching a 7" smallmouth bass. And honestly I like it about as much as catching a 14" smallmouth. Either way that fish is going right back in the water. I'm still a kid at heart and it's getting a little late to hope for much more growing up to ever happen and change my outlook.

    I do know that guy.
  13. And by loaded for an overnighter, I do mean loaded.....
  14. You wouldn't want to load a bunch of camping gear in the Legend 15 and paddle tandem. With just two people a cooler and some fishing tackle it's fine. It shines solo though, either loaded for an overnighter or with just a cooler and tackle for the day.
  15. Finley took a pretty good rise. This is yesterday about 5:00 at the old Riverside Bridge.
  16. I settled on a Mad River Legend 15 and really like it. But they stopped making it.
  17. Way cool!
  18. They had it cranked up to 10,000 CFS last Friday for an hour or so.
  19. You would not be happy in a Buffalo anyway if you are wanting a solo boat. They're a lot more geared to tandem and will handle some pretty heavy water very well. They were/are tough sons of guns.

    What's Cooking?

I'm working on losing some weight before summer. And I hate you.
  21. Considering condition and you just won't be finding them new anymore at any price, seems fair enough to me. If you can handle that color that is. Wow is that thing green.
  22. Uh oh I need to take a little walk when I get home

No way! If you will notice, that fish is hooked in the roof of the mouth. Same way with most of the fish I catch on a regular honest to pete ned.
  24. You're a lot likelier to get a bad burger (as in one that will make you sick) than you are a steak that will make you sick. I definitely still eat rare and medium rare steaks. But burger? No way. I thought I might actually die.
