  3. If I am not working - I will take care of the chips again.
  4. Put in at 10:00 this morning, stayed close to the house most of the time. I did run to Bridgeport and caught a chunk 3.1 Kentucky on a jerker. Also caught a nice 4.3 large on a rock crawler. I had my best luck on a jerker. Got hot out there today. I had about 15 total including this dink. 3 keepers total
  5. Well done!!
  6. Nice!!!
  7. I ran up to Battery Outfitters (my 1 year bass pro batteries were dead on arrival) the day of our OA one bass tourney and picked up 2 new batteries because of all the good reviews. I fished the rest of the day with more power I have had in a long time and plan on getting many years out of them.
  8. Friend of mine said that up by Blunks the whites are hitting a 3" jarkbait, or minnows. Having real good luck right now.
  9. Nice work!! Great report!!!

  13. Great report Quillback!! Nothing more frustrating than knowing you had a big one and it got off before you could even see it. Thanks for the report, It is way past due for me to go out again.
  14. Happy Birthday Bo, and Thank you for all that you share with all of us!!!

  17. 👍
  18. I fished that area last weekend - but I went Cape Fair up to point 15. I took my wife and was only out for 3 hours and caught about 15 fish with only a couple keepers that were right at 15 inches. So to answer your question - the water temp was 54 to 55 degrees, and I threw a McStick the whole time and caught the majority of the fish on bluff ends and bigger rock slides on the bluffs. I didn't go into any creeks, but I saw a few people fishing them, not sure how they did. I don' know how to fish deep so I don' even try, but the guy that I talked to when we were leaving said he was fishing deep for over 6 hours and didn' even get a bite the whole day - but that doesn' mean you won't have good luck doing it. Good luck, and I hope I you post your report when your finished fishing.
  19. I dropped in at sun up and it was chilly, cloudy and breezy. Started with a buzzbait and never had a sniff. Tossed a Rock Crawler for another 20 minutes with nothing to show for it and a hodge podge of other stuff that did me no good. So I decided to run up Flat Creek. Water was 55.5 degrees when I decided I found a place I wanted to try. I tied on a jarkbait thinking "what the heck". And I am glad I did. Caught around 15 total but all were short of keeper length I believe. Still a great time. For living right on the water - I sure don' get out enough. Thanks for reading.
