  1. That's funny and interesting.
  2. They were talking about it at LOZ this morning from one of the local radio stations out of St. Louis this morning. It's just like anything else, wait till it's so bad then cry about it.
  3. That is exactly why I stay off the lakes during the summer. been there, done it, not any more. Do I like it, no, nothing I can do about it.

  5. I found this to be very interesting, thought you guys may also.http://campaign.r20.constantcontact.com/render?m=1102224436468&ca=c21adecd-4e44-49c5-8807-8037c9cb22c0
  6. I have been using 3/8" shrink tubing cut in 1/4 lengths. I seal them up with a lighter before I go and they last real well.
  7. http://www.news-leader.com/story/news/local/ozarks/2017/06/17/big-fast-boats-stirring-up-trouble-lake-ozarks/405834001 Found this article also, we need to find a balance!! Lol
  8. Ridiculous for sure, I figured you'd have something to say. Have a good weekend!
  9. Go Figure! SUNRISE BEACH, Mo. (AP) - Bigger boats driving at higher speeds are causing tension on and off the water at Lake of the Ozarks. The Kansas City Star reports the issue isn't new on the lake but residents and others say the problems have grown along with the wakes left behind by the speeding, larger boats. Some landowners and business owners complain the large wakes repeatedly cause expensive damage to docks and the shoreline, as well as reducing the peacefulness of the lake. Because the damage comes from the waves, not the boat itself, state patrol troopers cannot issue tickets. Rep. David Wood, whose district includes lake property, says it's difficult to reach a compromise between those who want to limit boat sizes and marina dealers and other who have invested in larger boats
  10. I would not hold my breath on a infrastructure bill.
  11. T, same here unfortunately, I would love to come down for a week in the summer, if I did I would plan to only fish at night. Then that ruins the week with family as you can't do both, enjoy family during the day and fish at night. Years ago you could drift around and drop shot fish while swimming periodically, with all the big boats and loss of respect for others it's impossible. Late October thru May is the ticket.
