You must have been grinding after them if you were using a drop shot, not one of your favorite techniques to use if I remember you quoting before. We are all just buying time waiting for fall and cooler weather to get out after them, thanks for the report Champ.

I'm looking forward to getting my boat back and getting her running and get into some fall fishing, with the new job of Sunday and Monday off I ought to have the lake in some what of a peacefull time this fall. Like you say if these big boats get off the lake it will be nice.

I think that reasoning is very logical wrench, it is a heck of a place to fish.

need to have a petition drawn up and get all the signatures you can and send it in, after all we all pay there wages through our taxes. Just a thought.

what a idiot, we went for a boat ride I believe on the 19th with a friend down there, a bunch of jerks i assume in there daddy's boat most likely came between us and 2 other boats, they were in probably a 40-45 footer, huge boat, came flying by throwing out a hell of a wake, completely irresponsible and no consideration, buddy been wanting us to come down for quite some time, all in all had a good time but I think that will be the last.

I don't believe Champ 188 is worried about his spots, or baits or bragging, as much as protecting the resources he cherishes so much. He has given plenty of tips and locations, some to me and I am sure to others also. It is always better to be on the side of the fence where the grass is greener, just look at the cows

He sure seems to be one that has a pretty good consistency of catching quality fish when others struggle during the day, another good trip from the fisherman from Salem Mo.
