  1. Are you willing to ship or is it local pickup only?
  2. I like using grubs on the screw-loc shakey heads. You can swim it if you want, cast it into cover if you want, rocks, etc. pretty versatile. Lose a lot less than using just an exposed jig hook. I have to use the bigger 4" ones though unless you can find shorter hooks.
  3. Fly fishing from the bank MAY be possible in some spots, but you will have much more water at your disposal if you invest in some waders.
  4. Thanks Seth!
  5. I bought some @ 36 after the Barron's article scared a bunch of people off, sold @ 43. Pretty nice return for a few days
  6. What time is the siren?
  7. I'm thinking about taking my daughter (6) to Meramec Springs this weekend - a first for her as well as myself. I've trout fished in Taneycomo before, but am by no means an expert. I had success in Taneycomo with spoons, but haven't tried much else. I'm just hoping to get her hooked up a few times. Any recommendations as to tackle and or bait to use. We will be using spinning rods. Thanks for any help.
  8. Those 20+s are beasts, nice work!
  9. No it's not. Only the Virile ("Northern") crayfish may be purchased for re-sale or sold for use as live bait. They may not be imported live into the state (3 CSR 10-9.110(3)(E)).
  10. Looks great, Nice work. I may have to try this myself. Been looking for an excuse to whip out the dremel. I'll test my luck in the giveaway too.
  11. http://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-Forschner-Curved-Stainless-Skinning/dp/B00062AE76/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403203438&sr=8-1&keywords=beef+skinning+knife i like this for boning and cutting out the filets from the body. Get it nice and sharp and it will slice real nice and you can manipulate the blade easily through curves. then i use your standard rapala filet knife for actually skinning the filet.
  12. Any interest in a 79 6hp?
  13. Sorry Daryk, went out of town this weekend. The boat has been sold.
  14. What sized redfin do you guys usually throw?
  15. Sure, for $225.
  16. I will have to check the weight rating when I get home tonight. No major leaks as in no noticeable area where water would be coming in, but a minimal amount of water was on the floor of the boat last time I took it out. My drain plug is pretty old, and almost rotted, so it could've been that.
  17. 1. Yum Wooly Bullee - Junebug 2. Zoom Grub - Salt N Pepper 3. Berkely Havoc Smash Tube - Norm Blue 4. Senko - Junebug 5. Depends on the Lake - either Damiki Mega Miki - Junebug or Zoom Trick Worm -GP
  18. $225 takes it if there is any interest.
  19. Does anyone have a recommendation on where to take a small outboard (1979 Johnson 6hp) for service in Saint Louis? I need to replace the starter pinion that spins the flywheel as well as give it a general tune up. Thanks for any recommendations.
  20. I can't believe we lost that game getting caught on a line change. What a crappy night.
  21. $250 OBO
  22. I'm looking to sell my aluminum semi-v boat. This boat probably won't win any beauty contests, but she floats and doesn't have any major leaks. The boat is a 1968 (I think) Lonestar. I have a title for the boat, but I don't have a title for the trailer it is currently on. I'm looking to get $300 OBO. The boat is located in St. Louis, MO. More specifically in Crestwood.
