  1. Anybody here tie tube flies or want to start? I got this book with a bunch of tying materials I traded for several years ago and I dont use it or need it.
  2. Your link is to the "manage posting" on craigslist, it's not the ad. The ad is here: http://springfield.craigslist.org/boa/4379947875.html
  3. I use my Ipad most of the time. It has it's quirks but I've gotten used to them. I turned OFF auto correct, that drove me nuts and I haven't had any issues with that part of it. As far as private messages showing up in your email also, you can go to your user control panel (up on the right side of the page where it has your user name) and deselect the email under notification options.
  4. It's here Phil: http://11pointcanoe.com/race.htm
  5. Here's a PDF of the regulations. Unpowered vessel requirements and suggestions for lighting are on pg 38-39. http://www.tablerocklakelodging.com/MO_handbook_entire.pdf
  6. I wouldnt take it out in the main lake at least until you are a bit more experienced and can get back in it after you get dumped in deep water. Stockton can get pretty rough.. If you're asking about regulations for kayaks, you don't need to register a paddle craft. I bought a Jackson kayak from OMTC in Ozark last weekend. Good folks.
  7. This sounds like it would be fun. Never been to the eleven point, can I use a kayak in this event?
  8. It adds up quick when a screwdriver costs 500 bucks.
  9. That Creek Crawler's got more crap on it than a Chinese buffet but I really like the looks of it. Found a video of it so I'm gonna give it a shot. Maybe after 50 or 60 attempts I'll have one that looks decent!
  10. Gone. Traded in on a Jackson.
  11. That too. I love camping, just not in my own house in February.
  12. Guy I work with just got his first hive last year, lost all the bees a few weeks ago. Winter storm watch already issued for Saturday thru Monday....good times.
  13. Have the original anchor and rope also.
  14. First generation WS Pungo. 12' angler version, I lost the Scotty rod holder that was in it, has the flush mount holder behind the seat. Has been stored outside for several years, so is faded but not torn up. Has the " Phase 3" seat (could use a new covering on the seat back). Normal wear and tear from creek/river use but no holes or deep gouges. $275 neg., I'll throw in the paddle that came with it.
  15. I went last year with a couple friends from work, took 2 hours from Delaware to Shelvin (we went on down to Hootentown, total of 4 hrs). I didn't fish so much as take a couple of lures waterskiing. Will not be doing that again
  16. Wow. I would call that a highly successful trip! Good job.
  17. A penguin dragging an abacus.
  18. I wouldn't know how to catch anything in that spot...
  19. Welcome aboard! I'm pretty much a novice all over again too.
  20. Had to go and burst my bubble....
  21. Cool vid...now gotta go tromp around the woods and try to find a green turkey that I can grab by the right butt cheek. Again, great looking fly and thanks! Going to order some materials for those.
  22. Hey wrench, is that mohair yarn a craft store item or do you get it from a fly shop? I like the looks of that!
  23. Not too far north of you, nothing falling out of the sky here.
