thanks guys for the prompt reply, I was having some difficulty finding those colors in a beaver style bait in my local stores.
guess tw is getting an order from me today, lol
brown/purple, pb&j, cinnamon purple
something similar in color
I don't have a lot of time to search the web and so far I've found nadda,so does anybody already know where to find these?
thanks for the help
try using a mustad weedless treble hook ,ugly but effective, fewer snags, may wanna sharpen them a little first , some hooks are sharper than others and the wire eventually breaks off but they will save you some money in the end
put a pair on a red eye and fish it through wood or drag it on bottom, that works good too
dang, I drove past there the other day and I was kicking myself for not having some fishing gear in the truck.
nice frog bass, congrats on the go pro win
last time I fished there I walked the bank from the dam up to edgewater and caught some trout and bass on zara puppies
if you ever see a topper 10 floating around it's probably me I always fish out of empire
Went with Ham last Sat. I'm pretty sure Ham had a 100 fish day . I didn't have my fish counter,, couldn't find it after the previous fishing trip so Idk exactly how many I caught. We fished early until about 1pm.. Found some topwater action. Caught spots,lm, and smallies. Gill fished the last part of the trip. It was one after another .. I had a great time with great company.
could be a##holes with spear guns. They can ruin a great creek fishing hole overnight.
I used to have awesome creek fishing close to my home. One night somebody shot almost all the fish. Fishing there has never been the same since
I remember seeing those in my Dad and Grandpa's tackle boxes.
the bass buster tarantula was a good one too. I still use them and have a couple dozen unused too.
headed out around 6 went back to the same place I caught some last week in the back of a cove up the Theodosia arm . Parked the boat up against a bush and began fan casting the area. The water was more stained this time and they wouldn't touch the regular spook so I put on a chugging spook. Third cast with the chugger and it got crushed by a skinny 16" lm. Caught a few more small keeper lm and missed a few. Sun came out around 8:30 so I called it a day .
anybody venture out and have any good news to report?
it sure was busy out there!
I didn't go but I fished a couple times last week early in the morning . Found a pretty good spook bite back in the coves
rps do you ever use big colorado blades on your spinners?
say a 6 or 7 size
those bigger blades really work well on Bull in the summer when they get in that 35-50 zone
everything chartreuse
the beads, body,blade ,hooks
I don't think there is a definite answer.
so I'd say sometimes yes sometimes no. there's no way to ask a bass so...if using colored line helps you see bites then use it
I like the high vis yellow braid without a leader when fishing deep finesse baits.
