  7. I've been fleabaying for 17yrs. The seller has 99.1% feedback percentage which is really good. Over 500 of those reels sold and counting. I didn't see any negative feedback left recently about the reel either.

  10. I know what you mean kjackson, I have had many memorable days on the water using rogues. The first bass I ever caught was on a rogue. My personal best crappie, white bass, striper, hybrid, walleye, northern pike, spotted bass all came on rogues. When I found out about the new lineup of rogues I got my hands on them as soon as I could! I have posted some rogue fish pics. in my fishing reports. You can make a rogue do things other jerkbaits just cannot do.
  11. that's too funny, I hope they put that in the show
  12. My best day of winter bass fishing was during a shad kill. We fished the edges of a large piece of ice floating out in the lake. Just hammered 'em with a tube all afternoon. It was a warm day and the ice on the lake was melting. We'd cast our tubes up onto the ice then drag it over the edge into open water. The tube would sink maybe a foot and a bass would grab it. There were hundreds of shad frozen in the ice. As the ice melted the bass fed. if you choose the right lures and presentations to match the current conditions you can catch fish just about any time
  13. thanks vonreed, fyi I'll paint lures for anybody
  14. 6'8" medium casting rod my go to length for jerkbaits, topwater, and small cranks like a wart A longer rod does not always mean longer casts. A lot depends on the reel you use. I can cast a long distance w/ a 6'8 casting rod with the correct reel on it.
  15. very cool , thank you for putting this up
  16. Happy Birthday Bill Babler !!
  17. Wt 35 Sunday ,67 degrees, where was everybody ? Ya'll must have went home early, only saw one boat. Fished from 3:30pm-dark. Took about a half hour of looking with electronics to find some fish before I made my first cast. I didn't check if they were running any water before I went but I had heard they were pulling water earlier in the week running 6 units so I decided to stay out of the coves and fish offshore away from the banks. I found a good concentration of fish on a huge flat on a N. bank of the Theodosia arm. Idling around I found some shad balls and fish in 20-35'. Tried a deep diving crankbait, nadda. Deep jerkbait..nothing. First cast with a soft plastic tube drug along the bottom and WHACK! 3lb. largemouth , next cast another 3lber. 3rd cast 3lber. again! Caught 3 more short fish there all largemouths. These bass were really aggressive , very hard strikes, no doubt you had a bite. Wish I would have had more time, but I was happy with the results
