I've fished the Deps 175 and S Waver a little bit on the Eleven Point, Current and Mac. Caught a few but nothing of serious size. The main issue with fishing glides in rivers (at least in my opinion) is that most don't do well in much current on account of their slower sink rates. Also, it seems that the bigger glides just have a better swim to them, and stuff like a 250 or Hinkle are just a little much for Ozark river smallies. Truth be told, I've sold off all my glides with the exception of a HPH, they really just aren't my style for some reason.
Now, if you are really interested in throwing swimmers for smallmouth, I suggest getting a couple Triple Trouts. They'll smoke em
