I've got a cheapy electric Green Machine power washer. $100 at Lowes several years ago. Works just as well as any gas powered washer I've used and just as powerful. Only thing I don't like is the hose to the gun likes to twist and get kinked.

The particular trail in question, the Lewis & Clark Trail, I'm guessing sees 500 hikers for every 1 hunter. I don't think its a good idea to continue to try and please both crowds on the same day. A simple compromise -- they should probably have a few set aside days for hunting only, where hiking, birding, nature-gawking, is not permitted, and vice versa.

I'd guess $1K + another $1K for an electrician to install it.

Very impressive stuff. Is it like a cell phone though? The first year you own it, it holds a full charge all day long. By the 2nd year, it is only about half of what it was when new. And I really struggle with the "green" or the true carbon footprint of EV. Most of our electricity still comes from coal-burning power plants, right? What are we gaining here? I'm all about reducing emissions, sustainability, and saving the earth, but we're trading one fossil fuel for another.

The Rivian trucks are kind've ugly if you ask me. I just looked at their website, but couldn't find any good information on how many miles a charge will last. I could only see the 140 miles extra range on a 20 minute charge at one of the 600 stations they are building --- but for Rivian owners only. What does that cost? Is that a subscription deal?
