    It will catch a lot of things. Mostly bass but small enough for big gils. I'm going to try on trout this spring as well

    Look up alvin dedeaux popper on YouTube. Super easy and very effective. Also that little frog fly I came up with is dynamite.

    Rick was a fantastic person who I looked up too my whole life. He was a great father and a great uncle. I loved spending summers at him and sandys house playing with the boys. Him and dad fished alot when I was little and it was always a treat to see him. I will miss him. Stop by plateau in springfield if you ever want to see that brownie. Its a sight

    Dad used to catch them around ha ha tonka and at our aunts dock off old highway 5 wrench. Good point. I think they stocked them in haha tonka spring at one point.

    Glad you joined the club! Sorta looks like a mole fly or scud . it will catch fish either way. I have tied flies in a hurry that looked rough and slayed with them. They always say flies catch fly fisherman more than fish 😆

    I have a customer that told me this creek hold monsters and had pictures to back it up. He said closer to where it runs into a bigger creek is the best but below Hurley is great anywhere

    Well didnt catch didly squat. Had a couple rainbows take a look ... One brown took a swipe at the canoe launch. And a guys caught a 17 in smallie just up from and that was all he caught

    I looked all over the internet and called a guy and no one knows anything about it. They both said they are stocked annually in the fall usually . I bet there are some hiding in there. I'll just have yo sort through all the smallies 😁
