Nice to see a big one caught every now and then congrats. Went last Friday night and and caught a lot of shorts one was 8 inches. Nice to see the growth potential but would have to agree would like to see a higher length limit
Went night fishing right before all the rain hit had a good night had a limit of crappie and walleye. You're right there were several years there were it seem like a lot of fish or just shorts. Haven't been lately because of the high water looking forward to getting back at it though.
I was born in Branson lived there most of my life. I now live up around Republic seems like the flooding is happening more often I hate to say it but one day we will probably see 942.
I went night fishing Saturday night came home with 15 crappie and 4 walleye. Water temp was about 60 to 62 degrees. I tied off to some trees and put up some green lights at the mouth of sons Creek.
I usually fish Table Rock or Stockton I do catch larger walleye on Table Rock. The length limit on Table Rock is 18 inches they only stuck Table Rock about every 3 years I believe for some reason the Table Rock walleye survive better.
I love all of your guy's comments I personally feel like an 18 inch length limit should be applied to all reservoirs in Missouri. I talked to one of the Missouri biologists couple years ago and she told me that it takes three years for a walleye to mature so that she can spawn so if we're pulling a walleye out of the lake at 15 inches then she does not have a chance to spawn because she is not mature enough. I don't know if I hire link limit would help with the spawn but what would it hurt and if it doesn't help with the spawn I think we would have higher catches of large fish
Does anybody know what the water temp up around deep water or the grand area or just that west side of the lake are running, and thank you for any info.
sounds like to me the guy at Academy didn't do his job by informing you about the law like the guy at Bass Pro did so it sounds like it's their fault not yours just my two cents
I have used Walmart batteries and O'Reilly Batteries and I wasn't impressed I'm currently using Bass Pro batteries they're not that high if you get them on sale they just had a really good sale on them but it's probably over now
