  1. If that Bigfoot film was not faked then why when the creature got into the woods did they not go over and show the tracks? Should have been pretty easy to follow. I started watching that Finding Bigfoot show. Stopped when I saw that you could participate in their investigations after paying them $500. Also due to the lack of objectivity in their investigations after having their town meetings letting everyone know where they would be. I can only imagine that they had folks doing those tree knocks, rock throwing, and showing up on the thermals. Oh and the lead investigator's name was Moneymaker
  2. I like them too .
  3. Great fish @Quillback! Another fine day on the water for you. You can sure find those fish.
  4. @BilletHead those are pretty neat birds. We only saw one while we were in Ireland. It was pretty exciting.

    What's Cooking?

I would think that it would actually loosen you up 🤣
  14. In SC, at least in Myrtle Beach, you are not allowed to shark fish around or near any of their piers. No live bait and no cut bait larger than 2 " can be used. I think that has more to do about issues with swimmers for potential injury and perception, since you would have to drag the fish out of the water onto the beach.
  15. Have to love needing to hug a big slimy blue cat! Sounds like a great trip.
  16. You guys would have to get out of the boat first !
  17. I don't know what system this guy had, but when snagging a few years we saw a guy with what looked like a 12 by 18 inch screen. Even from a distance we could see paddlefish on his screen. Once located he would run directly at the broadside of each fish. There were 6 folks in the boat. They had three tied to the boat when we got there and snagged at least 8 while we were in the same location. We ended up with two and I failed to snag a single paddlefish.
  18. You have to start asking if using a live scope (use hunting terms) violates the ethics of fair chase. To me it is starting to become like using thermal imaging and night vision goggles to hunt deer. I understand that you still need to put the bait in front of active fish, but you are able to eliminate all of those spots where fish are not very easily. That will greatly increase localized fishing pressure. Just some thoughts.
  19. Another Yankee Capts trip out of Key West FL in 1985. Also a 72 hour trip. Was a multispecies deal for sure. Could fish anytime the boat stopped day or night. Red Grouper - was my largest fish of the trip. One of many yellowtail snapper. I always love it when you hook something and everyone is trying to guess what it is. I got a solid bite and set the hook on something heavy. Everyone was asking how was the fight. I kept saying that it felt like a rock. "must be a black.. big margate… AJ..., etc" Turned out that I was right My buddy and I sold the fish at the dock and it covered the cost of the trip as well as having some fun money in our pockets. Oh before we left we ordered Dominoes and had them deliver to the boat .
  20. Looks fantastic. We did a number of Hank Shaw recipes. Great cook and a nice guy.
  21. Yankee Capts Cod trip out of Glouchester Mass with my dad and two brothers - 1983. Dave Marciano from Wicked Tuna was likely mate on this trip. 22 lb cod - lost the pool to a 40 lb Hake caught on the last drop of a 3 day trip . Added a 14 lb cod as well. My dad with a nice cod. Was a great trip. Had whales around the boat including a minke whale right next to the boat. Almost got crushed by a freighter in the thick fog the first morning out.
  22. Rainbow on a midge - 2006 - folks will have to guess where this photo was taken.

    What's Cooking?

I use Louisiana hot sauce for making my buffalo wing sauce. Not one that I use to add to food. Lately those have been Tapatio or Cholula hot sauces. Really stopped using Tabasco decades ago.
  24. Hurry hurry and get those 10 species. Stop slacking buddy ! 🤣🤣
