  1. Congrats on a couple dinner walleye @Quillback! Did you catch them trolling or casting?
  2. 10) American (white) shad, Alosa sapidissima. Caught only three this morning.
  3. Livie 9) White Catfish, Ameiurus catus
  4. 9) Eastern Mosquitofish, Gambusia holbrooki
  5. Livie 8 ) White Perch, Morone americana caught in Northeast Creek near Cary NC

  7. Sounds like great memories @rps. Thanks for adding some perspective as well. About those UK guys many places you have to pay for a spot just to soak those maggots. You often don't have the ability to move to a better location if there are few fish in your spot. Even worse when you try river fishing.
  8. I have to look but I don't think that the Airstream have the exposed threading on the handle behind the reel. That just looks uncomfortable to me. I wouldn't mind spending the money if it is a good rod but if it's not comfortable to fish then I'm out.
  9. Ouch on getting yourself stuck. Nice bass catching!
  10. I've done well with copper johns.
  11. I agree but this was a stocker. With the waters out here you take what you can get. Was good with the crabmeat stuffing. The blackfish filets were a whole lot better.
  12. Congrats! Looks like fun tangling with those beasts.
  13. I think my last three cooking posts with fish were all baked. Even a trout😏
  14. Congrats on some very nice browns!
  15. I'll go for the chubs before any shad 🙄. Lots of fun to catch but a bit stinky. Maybe some day.
  16. Congrats! Sounds like an awesome fish!
  17. So who was catching those chubs today buddy? Did you bring some back for dinner? @FishnDave has been catching some lunker creek chub.
  18. I thought that this yellow bullhead might have been a juvenile flathead when I first caught it. Very different body shape than a flathead, but they are yellow to brown and also have an unforked tail.
  19. It's like bigfoot, until there is a body this argument will not get resolved. Don't need bags of fish, just good high resolution photos. Need to see the head and mouth in profile, be able to count the fin rays and the lateral line scales.
  20. Interesting video. As a manufacturer you have to be cognizant if this demand is a bubble before you ramp up production to meet that demand.

    What's Cooking?

Looks good. Might be able to do some forging with that unit
  22. Nice day Jeff! What a belly on that spot! You do catch a lot of healthy spotted bass buddy.
  23. Upstream I would have needed a trout permit. So just took a photo. Down stream photo. Way upstream - highest water fall in Georgia.
  24. These are just photos that I know for certain that I caught these bass all on the same Excalibur spitn image WTD bait. There were plenty others, e.g., largemouth bass, green sunfish, etc., but I just am not sure which photos are with that bait.
