  1. Personally this is a moot point for most of the US. Here in MD and at my work place we have been wearing face coverings or masks for most of 2020 and now all of 2021. In the work place if you are in a room with another person you are wearing a mask. If you are alone, no mask is needed. Early on we pushed the distances between people until there was a sufficient supply of masks. Lots of disinfectant supplies and hand sanitizer throughout the buildings (we used locally distilled alcohol when there was not enough hand sanitizer early on). There have been only a handful of COVID cases out of the 150 + staff that have been working in close quarters throughout the pandemic. Also hardly anyone has had a cold or the flu so far either. All stores, dine-in restaurants, salons, barbershops, etc. you wear a face covering or mask. We have lost a few businesses, but many remain open at some capacity.
  2. Good advice can often pay off๐Ÿ˜‰! Congrats on a new Esox species!
  3. I've got no photos so it didn't happen๐Ÿ™„. Took a charter with a group of guys some were quite well off. We were heading out of Port Aransas TX. Tropical storm Alberto was in the gulf. Waves were 2 to 4 as we headed out. By the time we got up to the first oil rig they were 4 to 6. Only about 8 of us started fishing. The rest were chumming both over the rail and in the salon. We were using old fish and squid baits plus the smell from the rigs made for an olfactory challenge. Then fighting off sea sickness due to waves added to the keep it down challenge. I caught about 5 or 6 red snapper. A few other guys caught about the same. By the time we were in 6 to 8 foot swells one to the really rich guys threatened the captain that he would buy the boat and fire him if we didn't head back in, which we did. Always amazed how quickly you can get over sea sickness. Next day we had a fish fry. So it was all good.

  7. I haven't been there nor NFL HOF. One trip we looked at going to NFL HOF but ended up in Cleveland at Rock HOF instead.
  8. Tampa Bay is better coached than GB. The biggest reason that Rodgers may be on another team next year.
  9. Some of my greatest sports memories came with the time to spend with my Dad. We were at the Pine tar bat game between the Yankees and the Royals. We watched George Brett knock a couple of fast balls into the foul side of the pole into the third tier bleaches before straightening one out which lead to the scuffle around home plate. I have never seen a bat disappear so quickly. We were in Shea stadium for a couple of last games between the Jets and our Steelers team. It was the last game that the Jets ever played in that Stadium. Also it was the last game that Terry Bradshaw ever played. At the end of the game the mounted police surrounded the goal posts. The fans began to tear up the sod from the Jets logo at the 50 yd line and threw the clods at the police. They quickly left the post and the fans tore down the goal posts. They also tore up the stands and most everything else. I remember seeing a 40+ yr old man with his young son arguing with the security about wanting to the keep the seat that he had in this hands. We once saw the Steelers and Chiefs play in Arrowhead on Thanksgiving weekend. Brutally cold. We had seats in the the nose bleed section and a couple from a season ticket holder that I worked with that were 7 rows up from the Steeler sideline. We would switch seats each quarter to let everyone get down close to the action. The most memorable game was the biggest one so far, Superbowl XLIII between the Steelers and Cardinals. Greatest sporting event that we have ever been to thus far. With my dad's passing, I don't ever see the repeat of that even with my own kids unfortunately. Hopefully my wife and I are able to make those lasting memories with our kids and now grandkids.
