  1. Though another black silke would make me happy😁
  2. I won't show this to my wife 🙄. We definitely don't have room for many new chickens.
  3. Used to be drive 10 hours 😉
  4. As a kid we would make the trip to Pittsburgh once or twice a year from CT. Always picked up chipped ham and the original Islay's Klondike bars😋. Maybe it is nostalgia but those Klondike bars tasted better. Better ice cream and chocolate.
  5. mayonnaise on most things. Only like Miracle whip on a chipped ham sandwich when I would visit relatives in Pittsburgh.
  6. Love veal and chicken Parmigiana😁! Hard to get veal due to animal.husbandry issues.
  7. On a thin but crispy crust

    What's Cooking?

I honesty don't think that there is a vegetable out there that I am skeered of like some of you guys on this thread 😌. Sheesh! Anyone ever find and eat ramps?
  10. Yeah but can you say why? And not because you ate asparagus. Need the cause.
  11. I have to say that for the most part I personally dislike these types of specialty pizzas. It's fusion gone bad. Keep pizza as pizza and tacos as tacos. In my opinion we don't need a burrito stromboli 😌! Or kimchi calzones😵. Don't get started on how good pineapple is either😒. I worked at a deep dish pizza place in High school. There was a bar attached to the restaurant. The place served a taco pizza. 90% of the time it was ordered after 9 pm and from the bar. I cringed everytime one was served since I usually had to clean it up again later in the bathroom if they made it that far. What's worse is that it looked about the same as when it was served. Didn't see that happen with pepperoni or sausage pizza. Oh and in N Ireland they love corn on pizza😌.

Looks good. We had several yellow and red bell peppers. I wanted stuffed peppers, but the meat went into meatballs and cheeseburger quesadillas.
  13. I like those rose-breasted grosbeaks. Had a couple of years that they would hit our feeders in Columbia. Now would be the time to have out oriole feeders. I would have ours out before the dogwoods would bloom so that the orioles would see the feeder as they flew over. Used to go through a lot of grape jelly feeding the orioles. Fine by me I don't like grape jelly .
  14. Fantastic Rick!!! With my stress eating, unfortunately I am going in the other direction.
  15. I'm short. So all short are long shorts

Agree with Mitch.. Looks great Marty.
  18. Looks like fun. Congrats buddy on a decent multispecies fishing trip!
  19. This is where the lockdown here in Maryland is being effective. On the Eastern shore there have been very few cases maybe less than 400 whereas the counties surrounding Baltimore, Annapolis and DC account for over 11K cases. With the population density model, we may all have the same infection rate and thus fewer cases in these less populated counties. However if there was no lockdown, those folks from those counties would be travelling through our area towards the beaches. So the likelihood of coming into contact with a carrier would have been much greater than we are experiencing now. That would have likely created a spike in cases in these rural counties. I still suspect that will happen if they open Maryland in the next month or so. As you said Al it is all new at this point.
  20. Congrats on still catching fish with your boys and also for your turkey success!

    What's Cooking?

Been chilly around here. Even had to bring in sensitive plants due to temps close to freezing😒. My Betterhalf made beef stew and scratch baking soda biscuits.
  22. Me neither. Some equate microchips as taking the sign of the beast in the book of Revelations.
  23. Lots of root and cruciferous vegetables in England and Ireland. I like roasted Swede and parsnips😀.
  24. Haven't seen gas prices like that since the 80's.
