  1. On #1 the just walk out to your boat on the trailer and get the registration# off the side, its pretty quick
  2. Great answer bassenforcer. This is why i like reading this site. Can i ask when you would go to the spoon around docs vs say throwing a ned? Do you need a lot of daylight? Is low light better?
  3. Is the area around pt 15 full of debris? I was planning a jug fishing trip this weekend but after seeing the photo from the other day im not sure. Anyone out today?
  4. If you can find the leak you might try 3M 5200 sealant, it is supossed to be the best. Needs several days to cure properly (and at warm temps)
  5. I agree with quillback! We were a bit underdressed, the wet air and wind was cutting through our jackets, plus some first outing of the year trolling motor issues were not helping. I think I saw 3 boats on the water the whole time and there was only one other trailer in the lot when we returned. Hopefully you guys fishing this weekend will have the same amount competition
  6. Long time lurker making a post of our trip today. We put in around 8am today at Indian point, was a little breezy and a little mist, water was not as dirty as I expected. Caught a couple of 15" lm on a crankbait along the rocks, wind picked up to where it was a pain to keep the boat in place so we ran to find somewhere without so much wind. Ran toward the bluffs near moonshine beach and switched to a ned rig with a watermellon color, caught a couple more lm on the rock/bluff transitions, moved again because of the wind and a sm on a little flat. All the fish were in about 15' of water. We gave up around 1pm, the wind and falling temps made the run from around the branson belle back to ip pretty miserable.(may need a chiropractor after all the pounding!) Thanks to all who post on oa, makes going out more enjoyable for a casual angler when you have a little bit of an idea what to do and where to do it
  7. Hello all Long time lurker on OA thought I would finally post something I usually fish Table Rock or Taneycomo but its a 60 min drive and I only had a couple hours so went to Fellows for a quick trip. Launched about 8 am, air temp was mid 40s, overcast sky surface water temp mid 50s Ran to the south side across from the marina, tried the secondary points using a ned rig with a purple action worm, had a couple of misses before I got a 14" LM hooked in about 20' of water Threw a white & chartreuse spinner, no luck Wind picked up a bit and went back to a ned rig with a strike king shim e stick green pumpkin, caught one little LM as soon as it hit the water off a bluff transition Left about noon, temps in mid 50s, still overcast wind was brisk, changing directions a lot. The trees were starting to change color, was a really nice day to fish even though only a couple made it in the boat. I posted a couple photos as well.
