  1. Will be interesting to see how many of us picked the same or very similar line ups.
  2. Similar pattern, different locations this morning. Still on the gravel. Found the better ones in 15'. Water temp between 81-83.
  3. Got out a couple of hours the last several days and only able to scratch out a few here and there. Tried enforcer's bluff pattern, but couldn't get it going. Took my brother-in-law out this morning and got into them on the main lake gravel points....super secret ones! Drop shot and 6XD found them. We then dialed them in by dragging 1/2oz football jigs. The key was it had to be dragged, c- rig style and it needed to be in the 18' range, so casting parallel to the run out was best. No hard hits, all were subtle and just loaded up. A few pics of the better ones and a good one the bro-in-law caught last night. Have a happy and safe Independence Day. David
  4. Just had to take it there didn't you?....
  5. Well....several of us picked crochet who zero'd and is sitting dead last. That could help help shake things up some.
  6. Thanks for report Mike. I'll take 40 any day. And good of you not to call out ABK's dock by name. Oops!
  7. My wife would pay you to take my 9 yr old chocolate, but I'm not giving in. I'll check around in some other circles and let you know.

  9. 933.4 tomorrow
  10. That's a great report! Thanks
  11. Thanks for the report. The tail on the LM looks pretty raw.
  12. Thanks Dave. Looking forward to following your reports. Enjoy and be safe.
  13. I personally would throw jigs on the the 7.1. I throw jigs more than cranks and want to get more leverage on the jig than anything else. It's usually the the bait I've got the most line out, so want to be able to take control quickly. I'd then use the other bait caster for the cranks. Just how I look at it. Do what ever you become the most comfortable with and try not to over think it.
  14. Great report. Thanks for sharing. Go Cats!
  15. Good to know. I may reach out to. Thanks
  16. This one should be fun. Who hasn't won there?! A total toss up for me. Texans, Cajuns, some of our Ozark favorites, old school guys, new guys, guys with momentum and some ready to breakout of a slump. All I know is I gotta do something to get out if the middle of the pack though.
  17. Congrats again Brett, its was god to meet you. I'll bet you that new 1K check against my new bilge pump and piping that you hooked the big girl in the top of the mouth with the Bo's jig!?
  18. Interesting. It's an older champion. Will definitely look into access from the floor under the batteries. Thanks for replying.
  19. Dan - Agree I could plug from the outside temporarily. Still don't like the idea of no bilge but then again the next few months are prime time to be in the water. We'll see.
  20. Fished Saturday. Stayed away from the crowded creeks and fished main lake pockets. WT was 55-56. Caught a couple of short fish early on the 3.8 swimbait. Backed out and threw a jerkbait in 15' and caught a 3-4 more with a little more size. Switched to a jig near deeper outside dock corners and caught a few better, just not big enough to weigh in. Headed out to see if I could keep something going with the jig bite and couldn't get the boat on plane. posterior end was dragging. Suspected water on the wrong side of the hull...and bilge won't come on! Limped it back to the dock, got it on the lift and pulled the plug. 12 minutes later it finally slowed to a trickle. Can only imagine what would have happened if I was farther away. I think it's bad hose to or from the livewell which are conveniently located in the hull pad under a full tank of fuel. Wasn't prepared to siphon the tank and tear it apart this weekend. Will be back in a few weeks to dig into it. Congrats to those that cashed checks this weekend.
  21. Prayers sent. Hope all goes well.
  22. Glad you shared with us Bo. It gives a few more names to watch as the story unfolds. Must be rewarding to see them do well today.
  23. Great fish Donna! Congrats!
