  1. Anyone else watch it yesterday? I just got caught up a few minutes ago. Mercury laying on the highway at 5:31 am?
  2. Im fairly confident that I could have caught fish with the Ned, so getting skunked by my own actions was that much more of a face slap. If it wouldn't have been so cold I wouldn't have cared. But man, when you go back up there in 24 degree weather with a pretty good breeze, you want to at least get a nibble.
  3. Frustration.
  4. Haha M&M. Those little turds were tight lipped as far as what i offered them. Probably the way it was offered tho. I believe all 5 or 6 boats i seen were throwing the A-Rig. After i got the spinning outfit out, i remembered i had "borrowed" the glue out of the tackle tray to fix a piece on the camper, and as my brother would do when he borrows stuff, forgot to put it back where it goes. That taught me a lesson. Now need to go look at the ProAm stats from today.
  5. compared to the other, sllooowwwwww. But surprised with stability and how solid it was.
  6. I havent been on the water in 3 months. Cant remember how long its been since ive had that long of a spell without getting my fishing fix. Temp. in truck said 24 degrees at 8:30 when i put in. On the way there i was sure i would be the only dummy that early. Thought others would wait until tge sun warmed up a bit. Nope there were atleast 15 other rigs there. Talked to a few boats fishing the ProAm who stated it has been a tough day for them. One guy blew his powerhead early so it was going to be a long day for him. I was there for 3 hours and didnt get a bite. A-Rig, RC, JB with nothing. I learned one thing tho. I will never try the Ned again without bringing Superglue. Man every single cast it would slide down the hook. Tried that maybe 15 casts before that got old. Hope i do better at the OA tourney.
  7. Get to work
  8. Wow, didn't see Timmy Horton doing this well.
  9. Camper has been sold.
  10. Thanks Daryk.
  11. Well it appears that i've missed some details of a problem that it looks like i started, unknowingly. Sorry SoIn i have been very busy with work, mom with stage 4 cancer, and my buddy Jim passing away and trying to help his wife with what i can, so forgot about this post i made in regards to sending you a PM. There are some great guys, and gals on this site, and many of us personally know each other, so when one of them sees something wrong, they do as in friend would, and step in. I appreciate that personally. Looks like some comments were deleted so im not privy to what was said but my intentions were to ask a few questions about your items for sale, not necessarily to buy unless the deal was right. Sorry if i made it seem like anything else. I did receive your PM's but by the time i read them i was falling asleep on the couch and just forgot to respond. Sorry. ST, appreciate the help buddy. Lake time together soon.
  12. I had a close friend pass away a few weeks ago. He recently after some medical issues thought he was over the hump, and able to get back on the water. My wife and I even teased them enough since they sold their class A motor home that they purchased this camper a few months ago to camp with us this spring. He was known for maintaining his possessions very well. Both of these items are in great working condition and ready to use. She priced these so I'm just listing as she asked me to help sell them. 2003 Nash 22' bumper pull camper. Everything is in great working condition. Has a bed in the front, rear bath, kitchen, etc. Pulls easily with a 1/2 ton. $8500 2013 Tracker V-16 Super Guide with a 2015 Mercury 40HP four stroke. Garmin electronics, boat cover, life vests, fishing seats, new tires. Real clean and running boat. $10,000
  13. How old are they?
  14. If it has GPS then i would say on the console as thats when you would be using the GPS. If not then on the bow.
  15. you can reuse those right?
  16. gonna PM ya here in a bit. Still at work
  17. Man thats some hogs right there. I ghink Ol' Wally Marshall would be proud of that bag.
  18. where ya located?
  19. Haha Jerry. Well worded
  20. The WORST thing they could do is to report that the fishery is sub-par. That would be a drop in revenue for the area.
  21. We very strongly considered a 10' or 12' John boat. We asked the boys which they preferred and they said the one we got them. Th have no regrets as of yet.
  22. JP spends more money on re-doing than his dad spends on building it. It's almost complete. Had an insurance buddy that did a walk thru last week and he said it's about there.
  23. looks like your hoping a crank bite is happening. Good luck, nice weather for sure
  24. I think even I could catch a fish in the honey hole on the left.
  25. I was involved with a small part of that last summer. It's going to be pretty neat. Last I heard a few weeks ago was scheduled for end of March, pushed back from end of Feb.
