  1. See me surfing for new aluminum guys?
  2. Fish any bass tourneys?
  3. Good outing there Smalls. Take your dad with ya?
  4. The boat companies don't care if you use it once or 100 times a year. What gets me are the guys that buy those $40,000+ Boats and use them rarely. I would have to live in one if I spent that much. People say "It's JUST $300.00 a month". But with interest that $50,000 boat will cost you $65,000 when paid off. Just don't get it hence why I have never bought anything newer than a 3 year old boat.
  5. Good words wrench, BUT....... It doesn't matter what the budget is, the work performed should be top notch. Let's say he told them a budget of $4000.00 and gave them a list of 6 things. If the resto place thought they couldn't do all 6 items for $4000.00 then the ones they could do should be top notch, with them explaining to the paying customer that his budget wouldn't allow all items to be repaired, then the customer could decide which repairs to do, but they would be done right. Lack of budget shouldn't equal less quality, but less quantity . Just my .02
  6. Also should mention that there will be several on here that will say to share on social media the name of the business to inform others. That's your choice, but myself, I would be there tomorrow explaining to them that I was upset, lost fishing time, time fixing lights, and want to take it to another shop to have fixed, and you are requesting them pay for that repair bill. Doubtful they do that, but spreading the word on these forums will hurt them more than them paying the next bill for you.
  7. Even on a Sunday morning. No answer they can give would suffice for myself on why or how that happened. And the fact that they sent the boat with you with those, or any defects is beyond acceptable. Good luck but don't feel obligated to return to the same shop that has already had 2 chances. Good luck.
  8. Not at all wrench. Pomme is about white friendly as Ferguson is of conviences stores nowadays. We catch a ew, and I mean very few up river, where 10 years ago we would catch over 100 in a half days fishing.
  9. Thanks for the offer C4F I will keep ya updated Haha, If it were me, I would listen to aarchdale. He has spent some time with me. Thanks Daryk, as you know, same goes here. Hoping to see ya for the OA tourney, even if you do drag in at 10pm. lol
  10. Old Plug i was just messin with ya. Im sure you spend all of the time needed on the water that you can. I only post pictures so you guys can see how handsome i am.
  11. Does he even fish? ?
  12. Looks like April 1-2. KVD has his name attached to almost everything fishing related. Guy could quit today and never need to work/fish another day and still be well off. Hoping ive got a boat purchased by this time so i can donate my money.
  13. Farm 4 days a week, and fish 2 days a week. Thats the life. Pecans wouldnt be my choice of profitable plans tho.
  14. Anyone else seen these? The guy i seen selling them says very hard for fish to throw these hooks.
  15. Well you come from good linage. Great people.
  16. Related to the Springfield/Willard Nothums?
  17. Alot of the pro fishermen have some type of backup plan for after retirement, or to help financially while touring. Edwin has a pretty neat story here on his pecan business website. I like the guy. http://www.edwineverspecans.com/aboutus.asp
  18. Each boat has a number on the front side of the outboard. I noticed a few that are in the 20's numbered. I'm assuming they have at least 20+ boats.
  19. Im afraid i have found some land i need, i mean want to buy, so my boat money may be going towards that. I will know more soon. If your going to this, then count me in with ya.
  20. Well, I sold my boat to upgrade, and dont think i will have a new one purchased before this get together. If any of you fine gentlemen may happen to have an extra seat, I would be glad to take it. Either way i will be there with tables.
  21. correct. Yes his catches in the first were impressive. Great episode. Hey wrench, when you gonna invite me up there to fish?
  22. http://www.scout.com/outdoors/wired2fish/story/17j44453-mlf-announces-general-tire-world-championship Adding more fun to the game.
  23. I would have to disagree buddy. That would be putting that 225 on the back of that 17' Tracker.
  24. Came on here to post the same thing. I have fished the lake 1 time, and that was over 10 years ago. I was impressed with the amount of timber/brush in the water to fish, and the quality of fish being caught on the show.
  25. Good luck on the next life adventure. I moved to Missouri from NW Ohio and fished all over Michigan and Indiana as well. There are some good bass fishing and lakes in the northern parts. Lake Wawasee is one of those we went to several times a year. It's a shallow lake for the most part, but a good lake. Crooked Lake in the far NE is another lake we fished often. It's pretty small around 800 acres but the Lilly pads were a huge blast with frog fishing. Just above that is Lake James. Man this is getting my blood pumping for the memories of that part of the country. Don't "settle" for other fish when there's a lot of bass fishing to do there.
