Very awesome guys. You all that volunteer your time, and the guys who are battling and share their stories are all Giants Amongst Men. Glad you guys had a great time. Keep up the good work all of you, keep fighting, keep fishing, and thanks BH for sharing. Always look forward to your report from this trip.

Just picture it like the morning we fished the CAM tourney after shoveling snow out of your boat. Its like that, but with MOAR FOOOD!!!! LOL

The River Monster guy has a new series out called Mighty Rivers. Last nights episode he was chasing Huchen on the Danube river. Sent me on a google search to figure out 1. What the heck a Huchen is LOL, and 2. How much would a charter be to go chase them I know the shows are a pain to watch sometimes, but man those were some big fish from the salmon family. The show right after had some guy in the middle of Mongolia catching Siberian Trout called a Tamien or river Wolf. Things can get up to 6 feet long and although the guys accent and schtick was old after 5 minutes it was cool to see them stripping big flys and catching some amazing fish. Had fish on the brain last night, but if you guys get a chance check them out.

End of May we are taking a trip out west to the Grand Canyon. I'd like to check a few more states off my list that I can catch a trout in. We are staying right between Flagstaff and Sedona area. While researching I found Oak creek which looks pretty promising for catching some. Any other areas around the Grand Canyon that I should check out? We are taking the Northern route back too and going to stay a day or two in Colorado as well, but I got some good leads on where to go there. I'll be bringing waders, fly rod, and spinning gear, pretty much the whole get up Thanks!

Dang save some of those stinking walters for me this weekend! LOL Glad to hear fishing is picking up! Thursday can't get here soon enough...

Bass are finally getting more active. Had a slow day Friday so decided to "work from home". Caught 22 or so. Girls meet me after school and both of them hooked up on their first casts much to the dismay of my neighbor who was fishing with me lol. Little fish whisperers... There's some decent bass we've seen but yet to hook into a really nice one. Using ultralights though so even the small ones are fun. All were caught on a senko, and a ned rig. Saw a few bass on beds already too but left them alone.

The big groups we've had out in the fields by my house have all split up finally. I think the locals put a whackin to them too though. Gonna try to get out this weekend. Good luck on finding a big one Seth.

So got home a bit early today. In time to meet my oldest at the bus stop. I had our rods already in there and asked if she wanted to go for a bit. She said yes so off to the ponds we went. She has never really bass fished before, but figured out the senko worm pretty quick. Had a nice one in the first five minutes but we lost it right at the bank. Still working on hookset, but we had 5 or 6 hookups in the short time we were there. Gotta love these beautiful days we are finally blessed with.

Try to load up on Sand fleas. I put my kids to work catching them, but a good rake will stock you up once you find them. Reds love them on a fish finder rig. There's a few guys on the Pensacola fishing forum who target big reds and use Gulp power bait setups. Gotcha plugs too. Good luck, and hope to see a good report.

@BilletHead So a while back I became the proud owner of some custom BH top waters. Life sneaks up on ya and keeps ya busy and I missed pretty much all of the good topwater season last year... Fast forward to this year and I've moved recently to a location that has 3 pretty nice ponds on it I have access to fish. Saturday night I went out for a few hours with my neighbor to go chase some bass. After a few minutes I saw bass hitting bugs on the surface despite the cooler temps and muddy water they were getting after em on the surface. I tied on my BH original and went to work with my ultralight. Missed my first blow up, but next cast I landed my first of hopefully many on these awesome little topwaters. Was a little dink, but he smoked that little fry. Thanks again buddy. Your craftsmanship makes these almost too pretty to throw, and I am still in fear of losing them LOL.

Made it home today, back stateside. Gotta go back to reality tomorrow lol. Back to the grind already. We did go to a happy hour at Chevy's tonight on the way home from the airport with to meet some co-workers. Wasn't quite the same... Gotta get footage dumped still too.

We had the trigger fish for dinner, and it was delicious. Nothing beats fresh fish. Sushi down here has been exceptional. I only ever eat it when I can see the ocean.

We were out of adventuras. We used Big Game charters out of the barricuda Marina. We only did a 6 hour charter. Not sure I could of handled any more. Lol I'll throw some more pics up once my other phone comes back to life. Got a ton of GoPro footage too.

Great day onthe water. Caught bonitas to start off with, then landed 2 really nice Amber jacks. Caught some trigger fish too for dinner. Amber jacks put up a heck of a fight. Had rough seas for sure. 2 of my buddies were chumming all day lol. Had some solid 8 foot swells, but good thing I have my sea legs.

Our journey begins. Got cleared for weather. Gonna be bumpy.
