We put in at Moonshine on Saturday morning at 6:30am. We went to a certain cove across from the state park marina. We began fishing a point on the left and caught a keeper sm on a DT16 in blue gill color in 14 fow. We moved into that small cove past the dock with the green roof. We were gonna fish the bend of the creek and when we threw our lures, a black lab and golden retriever came out of the woods, jumped in the water and swam towards our casts. Decided the dogs owned that part of the cove so we fished our way out of the cove. Caught another keeper sm on the way out on a PBJ Ned. Thought it was going to be a good day. Then the ski boats, jet skis and the pontoon boats showed up at 7:25am!! A pontoon with 12 people pulled up on the point that we were fishing towards. 5 people jumped out of the boat and began playing in the water. We decided to give the lake up to the boaters so we went back to the dock. I hope to be back fishing later this week, Thursday and Friday morning.
