    The rotation of the prop and the thrust of the prop has a tendency to make the boat turn right all by it's self naturally. I assume the boat had hydraulic steering in which i don't know much about but i once the pressure is relived from the steering wheel your at the mercy of the prop torque. I have cable steering in my boat all new and it's a No feed back style which you can let go of steering wheel and there is a clutch in the helm that locks and keeps boat going straight if the steering wheel comes off or loose.

    I have used a dixie flutter spoon around capefair with success this summer. Drove over the Bridgeport bridge today and can't believe how low the water level was.

    I find stuff floating all the time on Table Rock Lake...empty beer cans and beer bottles, small logs and so on.

    Im just a poor ole white boy, i use a 7 foot medium ugly stick and it works for me.

    It was 73 degrees here today and the wind was blowing 26+ mph and gusting to 30+ and im only 20 miles north of Shell Knob.

    My problem is not setting the hook hard enough..got so use to fishing the grass flats in the Gulf and catching weakfish ( spotted trout) that if you set the hook to hard you break there jaw, hence the name weakfish...lol

    Well since the wind is blowing 30 - 40 mph today, im staying home from fishing.

    My new fishing partner is not broke in yet and he is not a member of OAF...i guess i could registrar him here though...

    I buy the 87 octane with ethanol and put quickleen and quickcare in it every time i put gas in, i mix my gas and oil also cause my oil pump been taken off and i like the extra smoke....lol

    I believe he said he never lost sight of the highway 13 bridge at Kimberling City...but i could of read that wrong.....oh and by the way there are no fish around Kimberling City.

    Locks are to keep honest people honest...My boat sits outside in my yard covered and my electronics and rods and reels are in the house.

    Get some small rubber tubing and cut your own..small vacuum line from auto parts store, small plastic tubing like is used in aquarium pumps, small o rings..something along those lines
