I had a boat(18 foot) in Florida and would go 35 miles off shore in the Gulf and never give a PDF a thought, today at age 62 if im by myself i wear a PDF pretty much anytime big motor fired up and my kill switch is hooked up....im just not as nibble as i use to be or as graceful...i bough a basspro PDF it has a couple pouches and the top part is of a mesh material, i think it was like 35 bucks....yep im getting softer in my old age....lol

Put in at Bridgeport around 1:30 pm mainly to test out my reworked prop but stop up by point 15 on the flat creek side and water temp was 49 degrees..sonar showed fish but could not entice a bite they where holding in 15 to 20 FOW....then i went up to the other side of 76 bridge to a bluff and trolled down to a point water temp there was like 56 degrees again sonar showing fish holding deep 15 - 30 FOW...there was quite a bit of trash floating in water for some reason , saw a log that looked to be about 8 - 10 foot long floating up flat creek and some smaller stuff also. There where many other boats out there and didnt they didnt seem to be doing any good either.

You know i been a thinking( and it hurts when i think) that all them there purty lures you all are painting wont catch any fish and since i cant seem to catch any fish maybe you all should send them lures to me to fish with, that way they would feel more at home.......just joking all..very very nice looking lures and well done on the paint jobs..

Nice report...i put in at 39 bridge and yes there was a tourney there, all i m going to say is it was a mess getting out...we ran up the kings towards Viola and could not get a bite, watched a few others fishing up there and didnt see anyone catching anything either.
