We have rented a house in the country for several years, I have wanted to build these simple feeders for years, now that we have a place, I finally did it. It took 10 minutes to make one, we have spent hours watching these birds. Who needs a TV?
Thank you !
We had a spider plant hanging beside our front door one year, a wren decided it would be a good place to nest, she was very tolerant of us, even as she raised her young. They have been my favorite ever since.
My wife had to have a spur taken off from behind her Achilles tendon, so she has been taking a ton of pictures. I wipped up a couple simple suet feeders, the birds love them! I guess I'm old but I like the feeders too. All pictures where taken January 1 and 2.
Happy New Year to all !
There is about 500 of these, this is just a sample.
I like the wrens the best.
I don't know her, I was just impressed with her passion for fishing.
If any of us can fish and make some money while doing it, I would consider that a win.
After church today.
Had an eagle fly near me, two coopers hawks, and the hummingbirds were all over the jewel weed. This was one of the best after church kayak trips this year.
A small crawfish plastic got the most hits. I lost several at the boat, due being to quick on the hook set.
Hope you all like the pictures.
I caught a couple trout, on a dropshot, fishing stick-ups near eaglerock a couple years ago, there appeared to be half a dozen or so on the 2d sonar.
I like the dropshot for crappie too.
I wore one in church this morning. I have been to 5 major cities in the last 6 weeks, as far as I know, masks don't filter the air for you, supposedly masks help others stay well??
We have many elderly in our congregation. Just trying to consider them.
Even though I am pretty sure I had the covid before they started testing for it.
I am still going to go where I want and do what I want, most people don't leave this life healthy anyway.
