  1. Holy cow ! I can't stand it, that is awesome !!!
  2. These posts should bring the people for sure !
  3. I haven't fished Stockton in a couple weeks, but when I did here is how it went...it was HOT, got out early (dawn) I like the spoon but that is just me and there is a learning curve. I fish steep rocky drop offs near main channel swings from 5 to 25 feet deep, some fish are suspended over deep water near points. Be ready to have all the fishing methods you listed at your disposal, you will need it. The bite was over by 10 am. With the cooler weather and rain they many hit a little later in the day. An over cast day with a little wind should be ideal for an all day bite. Good luck I like big rocks (that's a clue)
  4. Wow ! Awesome world traveler stories ! I think just going to the lake is an adventure. I am glad that I can hunt and fish as much as finances will allow. Thank you America !
  5. I get my but kicked every time I go there. I am probably just not fishing right. It has always been muddy when we go. My wife and I might try it one more time then we will be done with pomme. I can fish the same way on Stockton, on the same day and bring something home. I just can't get pomme figured out. It is also further for us to drive. I would love to catch some toothy fishes but I just can't make it happen. Good Luck, I hope it happens for you!
  6. Yep, the bottom bouncer will catch the fire out of gills, On table rock in October we were catching them in 35 feet of water on the bouncer. We put 12 fatties in the boat before moving to a better walleye spot.
  7. Holy smokes that sound like fun!
  8. I would like something 9 + even a gen 1 would be fine the gen 2 with out touch screen is my goal but probably out of my price range right now. Just a good working unit, I am not sure what a "deal" would be. I own an elite hdi 7. I like it pretty well. I think the hds must have a wider beam?? I would like a second unit, I wanted to up grade a little from what I have. Suggestions are welcome, I like Lowrance
  9. I like that area, the fish looked fat a healthy, thanks for sharing !
  10. You have a good system for figuring them out, very nice !
  11. It was great to meet you too. The morning was calm and not many people we could have used a little chop on the water. I didn't bring the top for the boat, it will be on there next time. I have worked in the heat my whole life and even my head was getting warm. I would do it again in a minute, I would just stay a little closer to that red boat, so I can learn a thing or three.
  12. Wow a 24 ! Awesome, I need to be hanging out with you guys. I need a couple 20+ fishes
  13. About 20 feet I think.
  14. I guess it was out of warranty? How much did the repair cost? If you don't mind me asking.
  15. I hope that doesn't happen to me. I had trouble with the gps, customer service was so bad that I had to take it back to BPS and swap it for another one. I was inside my 90 days so it worked. I am sacred now, anybody want to buy an xi5 80?
  16. I would bet the water jacket is a good place to grow those things
  17. Sound familiar, I am in love with the spoon for now !
  18. The bottom where I was was just inundated with feeding fish, I had a tough time trolling too, the blue gill were everywhere. Every bass tried to cough up a shad on me. I should have tried a lipless crank I guess.
  19. Went to the rock in search of walleye, but all I found was a bunch of these guys, they were in 20 feet of water on a flat, it was fun. The best part was meeting RPS, a heck of a nice guy, with a really nice boat ! He didn't have any trouble catching the fish that I was looking for. This video should have had him in it. I was proud to have met him.
  20. Very cool !
  21. Thank you ! Yes 20ish for sure ! I going soon
  22. What is your average walleye size? Great report love it !
  23. Thank you , I want to go !
  24. There are several on C list hoping to buy one from a local. Thank you
