  1. Awesome !
  2. I had a MK do that it was a relay. I ordered it from ebay. I had to buy the whole board, it was covered in a weather tight epoxy like pour.I don't remember the price 50 to 80 dollars I think. I did the work myself. To make sure the board was the problem and not the motor. I just direct wired the motor. It worked so I new it was the the board. It was simple work, I hope that helps.
  3. I hate catfish they mess my walleye fish up, Kramr's posts resembles my experience. They are everywhere you just have to find the right bait. We camped at Ruark Bluff east one summer there was a guy putting out 1 liter bottles with about 18 inches of line and a #2 hook in the farthest east cove bordering the camp ground. His bait was baby bluegill. He would put them out in the evening on pick them up in the morning. He always had several good ones. I can't tell you how many I have caught on bottom bouncers.
  4. Thank you I haven't been down there in a long time. I wondered if the fishing was getting good again.
  5. Both MK and MG are good. The anchor mode will change your life, it is defiantly one of the most innovative things to happen in the fishing world ! I think MK has some really great features that I wish I had on my MG but the MG has a really good spot lock. I think you will be happy with either just figure out what feature will work for you the best. I have a MG Xi 5 80 on a 2003 tracker 17.5 deep V WT. It will hold me and a friend on a point in an 18 mph + wind very well. There are 2 major things that I don't like...one: when there isn't much wind the motor will constantly make micro adjustment back and forth to keep you in one place, two: the fob does not give you any info, I am hoping that MG comes out with an upgraded remote. I guess the MK is better in every way accept for the anchor feature. I would buy another MG unless one of these two improves their short comings before the other. I hope this helps both are very good company's I don't think you can go wrong either way
  6. I just found this, prayer done, God Bless
  7. I would had to try jigging a spoon under those shad, it might work, looks like a great day!
  8. 11.5
  9. I am not sure how you can get access to some places from the bank. Everywhere I fish is private. I have a place in mind, but it is someones back yard.
  10. Sweet! very nice were did you catch it?
  11. Still a good day ! Have you seen that weird lindey crawler harness yet ? I think it's called the little guy.
  12. Well you know there is a little more to it, and that is a pretty well know spot. I won't give up my favorite spots that easy, but this spot is a good model for success. I received a lot of help from others, and someone even sent me some crawler harness one time. I guess I am just trying to pass a long the kindness. RPS you are a good example/teacher.
  13. Man that is great! Wall hanger for sure.
  14. Al Agnew you just made me feel weird about wading the creek!!!!
  15. Very nice ! When does the book come out? Great pictures too. They will look great in the book
  16. Very nice ! Is there an extra spot at the dinner table? Don't forget the cheek meat on your walleye, there is a couple nice fish nuggets people often forget about.
  17. Have you ever fish for walleye with a goldfish? I know chub and minnows work. I was thinking of trying goldfish??
  18. I hope you are eating some of those spotted bass. Lord knows there are enough of them in the lake. They are good.... I feel some bass fisherman's eyes looking at me in anger right now.
  19. A bullfrog on a tiny torpedo. He pursued it and ate it, it was crazy to watch. I will leave the wife joke out because it's mothers day, but there is a spouse joke lurking in the question.
  20. If you count my creek/bank fishing trips I did that. The cost to go to the lake is manageable as long as I don't boat around to much, but life steals my fishing time. A couple weeks ago I was 3 days post hernia surgery and my fishing buddy was 2 days post heart cath'. If you would have tied both of us together we would have only made half a man, but there we were hobbling around trying to catch fish. We made an agreement that we had to start staggering our operations, that way one can carry the other to and from the boat.
  21. I forgot to ask what have you heard about it?
  22. There is a Devil's backbone on Table Rock. That is the only one I know of. I would guess that "Devil's Point" would would be a sharp point with a steep drop off. There are 2 on the east arm you might look at. Other than that I don't know.
  23. January,February, and March. The flood, and the prespawn thing messed with me. I just could not figure it out. I have a plan for those 3 months next time around. It has been a great learning experience. I sure am thankful for your posts and instruction, as well as the others here on OAF.
  24. All though it may not be that big of a deal for many, it is for me. My goal was to fish Stockton Lake in each month of the year. Mission accomplished ! I also set a goal of at least one walleye in every month. I blew it on that goal, I could only manage to catch walleye in 9 of the 12 months, so I guess I still have some things to learn. I have never been able to fish like this, I am thankful and blessed ! God Bless all Mothers this weekend, with out you none of us would be here
