  1. Really? What the hell are you hillbilly’s doing down there? They’ve gone full-on here. Predicting ICE and snow. I took them seriously and plugged in the heated bird bath😂
  2. I haven’t been to Ranchette in at least 20 years. Maybe 25. Thx!
  3. And somewhat stayed the same. For example he talks about increasing fishing pressure and less fish.
  4. Should be interesting for sure. 👍
  5. They would have to be at least 90?
  6. I saw your post on that. Looked pretty cool.
  7. Does anyone offer the old style guided float trips anymore? I read some stories about them on The White before dam construction.
  8. Same here! And not leave 2 weeks of PTO on the table. They rolled over but I should have used them.
  9. I would definitely go 9’ instead of 8’.
  10. Duck blind snacks with my dad. Sardines, clams, salami and crackers. 😆
  11. I bought a Jackery 1000 with two solar panels. I use it to charge my trolling motor batteries after fishing. The boat yard at my condo doesn’t have power. It will fully charge a 24 volt system after a full day of fishing. Sometimes without using all 1000 watts. Then I can charge it back up with solar or plug it in to my truck or an outlet in my house. Works great! Other guys at my condo have bought them after checking out mine. There are cheaper versions out there but I’ve heard rumors of them not being so great.
  12. No big ones but they were all thick like that.
  13. Big family Christmas party got canceled today due to several being sick. So I headed to the river around 1:30. WT was 48 and slightly murky. Cloudy but pleasant around 55 degrees. Ramp was a sloppy mess and there was a big pile of sand I had to back over to get the boat off the trailer. My truck, trailer and boat are a mess. I’ll go to the car wash tomorrow. I caught 5 in about an hour and half then they quit. All on Crank baits and @Mitch fs fugitive swim bait. Broke off a bigger one at the boat on the fugitive. Looked to be about 17-18 inches. I think in the winter the bite is better mid day and not so much early and late like summer time. I think I got there right at the end of the bite because they were “on” when I started but turned off quickly. The dark black line on the board is 15”s.
  14. Retail and restaurants across the nation have been suffering since covid.
  15. I have a 1752 blazer and I push it around on flat ground pretty easily in my garage. But it’s a flat bottom so it’s missing half the hull😆
  16. That’s what I thought. Thanks for the report. Happy new year!
  17. Crisco Introduced in June 1911 by Procter & Gamble, it was the first shortening to be made entirely of vegetable oil, originally cottonseed oil.
  18. Those are pretty heavy boats right?
  19. Cooking/seed oils were originally used as industrial lubricants and fuel until PandG decided to sell it to us as “food”😆
  20. You don’t use energy? Or are you saying wind energy doesn’t affect you? Not being snarky.
  21. Are you saying @AR Huzgr killed this fish? I didn’t get that from his report.
  22. Here’s the latest project we chased to supply the foundation piling. We did not get the work though. It’s a pretty large job. https://www.salemoffshorewind.com
