After sleeping on it if I was at the farm or someplace like that I would've just dispatched him right there and been done with it. If I do that in my yard I will end up in the pokey.

I watched a couple youtube videos on it. That's why I waited so long to get a trap. If I had seen a skunk on my cameras I would never get the trap. Man I was so excited to be hunting in the burbs and it all fell apart. No traps for me!!!

He said it would sip oil after break in and I'm using XD 100. The first time I ran low kind of caught by surprise. Low oil light came on and I had to troll back to the ramp about 1.5 miles downstream. Ultrex made it easy!!! -

Whatchu talkin bout!!! They told me mine was set to oil more in the first 10 hours then goes to a lower level for life of the motor. After the 10 hours it shouldn't use much. -

The brown in my profile picture was caught that way at Rim shoals on a wooly bugger. The brown thrashed so hard the little rainbow slid up the fly line. My brother and I chased it down and he grabbed the little rainbow right as the fly line finally pulled through his lower jaw. Chased the brown all the way down the first island and got it in some slack water and grabbed it. 27 inches long but no girth measurement.

Ok apparently I'm not cut out for this. I walk back there and he just squats down real quiet like in the picture. I threw a big blanket over the cage and put him in the truck bed. I drove to let him loose and when I get him out of the truck and uncover him he has pulled half the blanket into the cage and now he is pissed. He tore that blanket to shreds. I put a zip tie on the trap door and ran a rope through it so I could walk away and open it. He bolted. I officially am out of the trapping business. Trap is for sale cheap!!!

Just bought a 90 jet and love it! The break in period is great!!! Just run it like normal. -
I don't need to hear that right now while I got a live one in the trap.... You ever hear about somebody not thinking something all the way through?
