I sure would. Where would you be staying? Some areas are easier to get to Taneycomo from than others but none are real bad.

Made nawlins bbq shrimp foil packs last night.

I've noticed how many MLF guys fish the boat ramp area and do well. One guy commented that 90% of the fish caught were within a mile of the ramp. If you watch closely you'll regularly see no wake buoys in the back ground and guys not even leaving the ramp area to fish.

Back in the day I snuck in the lake they DON'T let you fish. It's a hog pen. Only got about an hour fishing before they told me hit the road. It was worth it. I used to fish there a lot back in the 90's. -

Exactly!!! I grew up there and fished a lot but the pool was great on those hot summer days. We'd spend all afternoon in it.
