Is there ice on the Meramec? -
I watched a guy who forgot his transom straps and the trailer drifted over the curb on the side ramp. I asked if he wanted help pushing it back over. He never answered. Just got in the truck and gunned it. High centered the trailer on the curb for about 15' until it finally jumped back on the ramp. He took off the straps, backed it in and never said a word.

I was backing my buddy in a few weeks ago that forgot them at Taney. All of the sudden I see the trailer and boat drift into the rear view mirror.

I don't know about that. There were lulls in the first two shows this year. Some of the guys even noted it.

Gotta be tough to get old....Hang in there. Don't listen to Wrench though. You'd be digging your own grave so you don't put anyone out at the cemetery.

I think I like the updates. Puts the pressure on. Or in some circumstances relieves them because nobody is catching them.

Maybe check the regatta schedule at Beaver and Bull. On some of these MLF events they switch lakes. Heck maybe Taney???? I would love to see an even on Taney.

Oh for sure they are poaching. And some don't even hide it. I guess it's like anything else. You tell me the rules and I'll use them to my advantage. Can't wait for a road rage type deal to break out when somebody crosses "the line" and straight up cuts in front of somebody.

I believe that's bulk commodity prices. Hundreds of tons or more.

In past shows some of the guys have poached water and patterns. Catching retreads around the marina seems to be a 2nd and 3rd period deal for some that don't find fish elsewhere.

Let me get this right. No kill switch or PFD while fishing 4 units at Taney in the winter because I'm just prolonging my worthless existence past what it should be, because I'm in my 50's and I have nothing to look forward to except a bunch of trips to hospital.... Got it...I'll take a hard pass on this one.

Russian sage and lithum do real well here on the south side. My wife has a bunch of perennials that do well there. Stick to natives and they’ll do better than anything else. Deer won’t bother them as much either.
