    Green Giant corn on a scud hook and 1/4 ounce bullet weight works for me. Ned rod would be about perfect. Where I fish they don't get fished at all and the water is muddy.

    I'm not positive but I think I've seen them down there before. I grew up only fly fishing because that's what my dad did. An old dude at Bennet introduced me to spin fishing with jigs. I think they called him Old Dubber. I was probably 10 or 11 at the time. I went home and bought all of the stuff to make a spinning rod because I couldn't afford to buy one. I still have it and I laugh at how poorly I did. One of the guides is off center. But hey I was in a hurry to get it done. That would've been around 1971.

    Whoa! Glad you're okay. I'm with on changing the tire on the side of the road. People texting are weaving all over the place. I wish there was some way to disable texting while driving. Two weeks ago I got merged onto the shoulder by a texter who swerved right into me. I honked and then they gave me the finger. While I'm still driving down the shoulder.

    Our stance has always been to expose them to as much as we can and maybe they will find something they like to do. I mentioned I would like to go to camp and she laughed and said. "We don't drink, you're afraid of heights, there's no air conditioning and we sleep in hammocks" I told her I'll pass. But please send pictures.

    Not all kids are I heads. My daughter and her group spend 5 weeks every summer at climbing camp. Climbing swimming camping canoeing bon fires at night. I wish they would let me go

    There used to be a fishing show on that was in Britain around a little carp hole. The guys were rotating around the pond and catching these little rough fish. they had cameras and the place was filled with spectators. A side show had guys camp fishing in those bivies. Pretty interesting especially the run down on how they chum and rig baits.
