    I work remotely and my wife doesn’t work so we go for extended stays. We do the same trip every year. She likes the beach and I don’t mind it. I really like sleeping with the window open so I can hear the waves. Like I said. If it wasn’t for her I probably wouldn’t go. I’m going bass fishing a couple days on a tidal river which I really enjoy.

    I gotta be honest. If it wasn’t for my wife I don’t think I’d leave Missouri. And if I did it would only be for fishing. MI and WI smallies maybe. I’m headed to the smokies and SC beach this weekend for a couple weeks. Honestly I’d rather go to the condo at tablerock. Well. Except I like the smallie fishing in TN.

    WT was 58 and it was overcast. Fished for 3 hours and caught 10 fish and missed quite a few. Tackle max fugitive and Ned did the damage. No love on the crank or jig. The big smallie was so close to 20”.

    Seems like "tourney" fishing should be the last thing a high school should promote. If like @Seth said, the kids that have better fishermen, boats and electronics will win then, what's the point. Saturday I'm playing goalie for my 7 year old granddaughters soccer team. Anybody gets in the penalty box and they are going down hard!!!! 😆
