Tuesday Jan 23rd. Not quite two weeks ago, the meramec, gasconade and piney rivers were partially covered in ice. I think water temperature has to still be in the 30’s don’t you think? I was on the meramec yesterday but forgot my thermometer.

I’ve seen them in there several times over the years. Just exploring is what they told me. -
As long as “pros” 😆 keep paying to fish it will continue. Never heard of a pro ball player “paying” to play in Busch Stadium 😂. My neighbor says he’s a pro while going to his real job every week. He won a few hundred bucks in a charity tournament so, Bam! He’s a pro.

Those big sycamore leaves will get my 90 rude occasionally. Floating rafts of moss/leaves in Taney will get it too. But not nearly like my old 40/60 mercury 4 stroke, plug fouling oil burner. 😆
