    Nice John! I started using a phone tether after I lost a sweet pair oof braid scissors. I tossed them only about 10” but they bounced funny on the deck and flopped right in the river. I thought to myself, I’ve tossed my phone the same way I’m lucky and never went overboard

    I went to two different smallie rivers this weekend. I lost count of how many fish I had on but didn’t get my mits on them. Dozens. One that if it wasn’t 20” it was very close. Had him on all around the boat then. Nothing. Just pulled out when it went under the boat. Still a couple awesome trips with great weather and water conditions. I’m at my condo now working remotely for the week. I’ll post up any pictures if I catch anything at Taneycomo. Mostly for @Johnsfolly😁

    Before MDC went online the public lakes around STL were good to great fishing. Then the MDC put everything online and they declined quickly. No matter what size and number limit they put on them the lakes all get reduced to being overrun with dinks..... The occasional decent fish gets caught but not like pre internet.

    No I’m not unfortunately. I almost stayed another week but I would have had to drive my wife to Rolla for her to ride the rest of the way home with my daughter. 5 hours round trip so I bagged it. I’ll be back down in a couple weeks again. Word is my wife’s work is headed towards remote work like I am. If and when that happens you better tell those browns to I’m coming and hell’s coming with me 😂 In the meantime I’ll be chasing smallies😁.

    Bigger than usual boats! I saw a center console that had to be 30’ long. Like an ocean bay boat

    Slept in a little. First cast at 6 am. No fog and dead calm. Bite not as good as the other days. Still managed a bunch. No rainbows. Bites were half hearted and had a 4 get off at the boat. Wasn’t long till the Spanish Armada showed up. I guess nobody stayed home to watch Jimmy Swagert this morning. Heathens!!!😆. Here’s a couple photos for @Johnsfolly

    Got up at 4:30 and headed over. On the water and casting at 5:30. Foggy. Stayed foggy and slightly overcast until 8:30 or so. I quit at 9:30. Lost count of stocker rainbows to 15”s. Plus a bunch browns in that size. Spent 10 minutes chasing a big one on the trolling motor that I never saw and couldn’t budge. Wide flopping head shakes. Finally got right over top of him and he just got off. Here’s a couple photos of the better ones. Mostly for @Johnsfolly😂

    I could only get out at about 1 pm due to work. High bluebird beautiful day. Didn’t expect much but I actually caught quite a lot of stockers. Most of the guides and me included stayed between the cable and KOA. I took these pictures of a few of the better ones. Lost more than I landed. A Couple were cartwheeling which was cool. Had a real big one on for quite a while. Well over 20” but he came unbuttoned. I’ll be out there tomorrow. In my phone the pictures are upright but when I scale the size down it flips them over. Sorry.
