Only sounded like a few flies to me. Plus he didn't have an indicator and he had never used one. You learn more catching fish than you do not catching fish.
Then you are missing a lot of hungry fish. Since scuds are the primary food source throughout the year you'll be watching others catch a lot of fish while you practice casting....
I could not disagree more with this... Change flies after 10 good drifts if you aren't getting bit and you are fishing where the trout are. I change flies and lures when bass fishing like a machine. If they are on a particular fly or color you are wasting your time with anything else. Before you go next time watch "The one Cast", stop or call the fly shops. You'll at least get an idea of how they are wanting a fly delivered and the color.
I wonder what the time line would be for stream reproduction to make any sizable increase in the population? I bet the reproduction rate was low before the flood much less after. Maybe hotspot it for your grandkids to hit it in 30 years or so.
I hired into GM in 85. First of many layoffs was in 87. I had the usual house, car and credit card payments. Credit cards weren't ridiculous but it killed me. Never again.... I refuse to carry debt.
As follow up, the founder of our company made his kids work in the yard as laborers until they graduated from college. We require a college degree for everyone in management, sales, accounting, drafting and QA.
I wouldn't even be considered for my job. Same with my wife and all 3 of my kids. Like we told the kids. Yes there are jobs where you "might" make a good living but having a specific college degree makes the odds go up dramatically.
I wanted to go down to Branson for the past 5 days but my youngest daughter was coming home and her and mom wanted to stay here. Plus we had my mother in law here. I got outvoted needless to sayđ
Youâre right. I canât stand sitting around the house. I knew today would suck but I went anyway. Well I thought the overcast skies and breezy conditions might buy me a bite. Thatâs all I could think about. Boy I wish I was on Taney, white or norfork.
In a lot of degree programs the required gen Ed classes weed out a lot âless qualifiedâ degree candidates. I donât want to call them stupid since most of the classes just require long term dedication to get through them. And then you have to do it for a couple years.
