  1. If you go to Skeet Reese’s Facebook page you can watch the video he was all of 10 seconds behind the guy when it happend. Looks like it bow hooked as he went over some waves. Did not flip until enough water rolled it over.
  2. My bad yep 2pm.
  3. 3-4 MLF guys came upon a charger boat that flipped and pulled the Owner out of the water to safety. Luckily he was smart enough to have a life jacket on & looks like kill switch as well. Hats off to the pros who stopped to help.
  4. Saturday was another record setting day. Will the front that rolled through yesterday slow down the fishing today? Will they continue to find fish shallow? Fun fun fun although with the blues game at noon I will have to double screen, darn lol
  5. Very impressive day! Good to see Gary Klein doing well. Can't wait for the B group tomorrow to get their shot at it. Vinson was on fire and broke two MLF records.
  6. Vinsons average was a fish every 8 minutes. Impressive. Look at the cut weight at 20th place as well.
  7. Tharp was catching some good ones on a jig and lost one he estimates in the six range.
  8. I read it yesterday and also thought it was useless.
  9. I use 12-15lb Seaguar Abrazx in almost all of the lakes I fish. I buy the 1,000 yard spools to save money. If I am at a stained water lake and fishing shallow I am going with 40-50 lb braid. Also make sure to check/feel you line and retie when needed.
  10. Always enjoy reading your reports Bill & thanks for sharing!
  11. You are correct so it might be his time. James Watson is another to keep an eye out for as he has some good history on the Rock. Edwin I believe has had some good finishes here as well.
  12. I would love to see Mcclelland bring this one home. What areas of the lake will the top weights be from? Who are you rooting for? Will someone break into a 100+ lb day? I plan on watching as much as I can!
  13. It was a dream for him to win a big event on the rock & glad to see he got it done!
  14. I have a hds 7 gen 2 (non touch). Pwr cord, Gimbal & knobs. Insight USA maps.
  15. You could also give Bull Shoals a shot.
  16. I have no issues with growing the sport but we could do a better job of managing tournament volumes per weekend on the lake. Also BASS & FLW should follow MLF catch/weigh/release.

  18. Well it was tough fishing in big Indian. We tried points with Spinnerbaits & cranks. I tried a jig, chatterbait, buzzbait...nope not having it(I think we focused too shallow). No love on the underspin either. So we ran way up the creek and my dad got into some white bass and one nice crappie. I stuck with bass gear and still no love. If I was fishing tomorrow I would pass on the creek arms and try the the lower end of the lake below the dam. Still a great day to be on the water. Lots of boats out until we hid in the creek.
  19. I don't mind. Spinnerbaits, cranks, and if I am lucky the right one will eat a buzzbait.
  20. Plan on launching at Spalding to hit the Indian creeks and going after bass. report to follow after the trip. Tight lines.
  21. Oh this rain will definitely help the bite. Weights for the tournaments should be strong! Go get em guys & gals!
  22. I like that smallmouth picture suspending in the air!
