Im in cant wait! This will be my first tourney in over 10 years. Just got back into a bass boat last year. And been practicing quite abit at LOZ. TRs a whole different deal but it should be a blast!

The only reason I didnt pick ish ....is i think alot of times the guys that have been around awhile worry more about their sponsorship money than they do about winning a tourney. So I left him off my team. But what in the world happened to Chris Lane. He killed me. I got fooled on that pick for sure. I would of thought he would of done whatever it took to make the cut but wow... I did Ok with my other picks though im not ready to send yall my address just yet!! LOL!! What goes up must come down! LOL!

Big fish starting to play a role!

Took the wife,daughter,and daughters BF. Put in at Mccubbins point . Waters low. We went up there to bass fish but I brought 4 spinning rods and some crappie jigs just in case the bass werent biting. And they were not for us . Was using the A-rig, jerkbait,crankbait and a underspin swimbait and main lake points and secondary points and had no luck at all getting bit. Did that thing for about 2 hours and nothing. I found a brush pile on a secondary point in 12 ft of water and put on a black and chart bobby garland on a 16th oz pink headed jig and got bit by a crappie on the first dip. the crappie were in the tops of the brush all day. In about 5-7 ft of water we never had to reel just dip the jig. I was using a chart nibblet on the jig as well. Tried other colors but the best bite was black and chart definately...Hope this helps

I consider an AM a guy or gal that has a 40 hour + a week job but loves to fish and maybe does a tourney here and there...If you aint trying to make a livin out of your winnings from fishing then your an AM in my small pea brain.

Its my fav show...I DVR every episode as well! I just wish they would let one amateur a tourney in to compete against the pros. I think that would be neat to show average joe. Would give that under dog guy that we could all root for! It would be something different too. Hey surely an amature can catch 12 inchers too! Do a drawing and pull a name out and let them compete! Just a fun idea for me lol...
