Jerkbait was easily the best option for us. I tried a rock crawler and my partner tried an A rig, but nothing would catch them like a jerkbait.

Had a great day with over 20 bass. We scratched out a limit of keepers in our little tournament. Had two good keepers, but we just couldn’t cull a couple of smaller Ks. Water temp 57 was the highest we saw and 54 was the lowest. We heard there was a mudline right below the cut, so we didn’t go any further south than horseshoe.
  3. I'm just happy someone provides a little info on Beaver. Thank you for the update.
  4. Great report. It’s nice to see someone share their report for beaver. Heading there this weekend.
  5. The number of boats out was crazy. We had a couple fish mid lake but like you said it was tough finding an open bank to fish. There were some real idiots out too. We were idling graphing a channel swing about 70 yds from the bank and some idiot blasts by between us and the bank at 60+ mph. He had 700 yds of wide open lake to pass by us but chose to go by between us and the bank.
  6. I’m interested as well
  7. Crazy sack for beaver
  8. Thanks I will let you know. Local guy is going to look at it today. Said it might be the compressor instead of blown. It didn’t clank like a cylinder was blown when he cranked the motor.
  9. I can drive further no problem. Where are ya located? thanks

  11. Any recommendations within 2 hrs of Fayetteville to rebuild or install new powerhead on 2005 Mercury 200hp?
  12. KastKing mountain mist fishing gloves
  13. I hope they have moved up shallow
  14. I tried the big worm, deep swimbait crawled along bottom and spinner bait last weekend but the Jig was only keeper. Most bites were at bluff end channel swings. Looking back, I think we moved too much as there were shad everywhere on our first stop.
  15. I have same issue at night. We fished a little tournament Saturday and it was tough. Bluff Ends near channel swing seemed to be only place we could get a bite. Pretty amazing the weights that come in for the night tournaments up there.
  16. I have been in an X19 and they sure are nice. I would definitely get the 200HP SHO. The one i fish out of has a 175 and he always says he should have went with the 200. Super wide deck and lots of room. I wouldn't mind having one.
  17. I picked up the ABU Veritas crankbait rod Winch 7' 6 MH
  18. I am thinking about the magnum crankbait 3 rod in the custom speed stick series CMCBR3
  19. I am looking for recommendations for a deep crankbait rod. I like 6xds and DT20s and wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations?
