I think then they should change all sports event then. Like deer hunting then. Shooting those poor little deer when they are out to breed and are the most vulnerable, Putting football and basketball on all the local channels should be banned. Then you have all the water being used for all the golf courses, football fields, baseball fields, soccer fields all should be banned, because they all use to much water.
And then ban all politicians.
Come on you got to be kidding. Tournaments are not a problem. At least tournament put the fish back in the water and are not taking them home to fill their freezers up with fish. There is a lot of care that goes into keeping fish alive in most all tournaments.
I know I will probably catch all kinds of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for this. But you will not hurt my only little feeling I have.
My son is wanting a deer cam and my grand daughters are going to buy him 1 or 2 cams, He is wanting one that he can retrieve on his phone.
There are cell towers in site distance and cell phone reception is good everywhere. He has ATT, I believe.
Any recommendations would be great.
Thanks
What honey is best for a human?
I have been told pure un-filtered is better.
Does it taste the same?
Looking to buy to put into my coffee in the mornings.
Is the regular honey you buy in the store good or what is better?
Does one taste better than the other?
Thanks
Having Turkey, Yam's, Stuffing, Green Bean casserole, real cranberry's and Pumpkin Pie with lots of whipped cream.
Thanks, And Happy Thanksgiving to you and all the rest of the folks on here.
I am trying to come up with a separate pole for manual operation of the livescope and get it off the trolling motor. It takes a beating on the trolling motor when we are in tree's. And may or may not be using it at that time. I do fish trees/timber a lot. Wanting it to be able to be raised up and fold down just like the troller does. All help will certainly be appreciated. I am willing to build something, if someone has the design and willing to share. Or willing to buy something as long as it does not break the bank.
Thanks
My garden is fence, so no deer problem.
But I do have critter problems and will be installing a electric fence for next season. Coons are the main problem. And the fencing wire will make them pee down their legs and the hair stand straight up. Went up the other day to cut the last 2 heads of Cabbage I had, Guess what had coon tracks and both heads were half heads. Been eaten away.
When do you all cut your asparagus back for next year growth.
My tops are still all green. And I cannot remember for the life of me when we cut ours back when I was a young man on the farm. Now or early spring, I guess is the question?
Our club does not fish July and August any longer either. All their tournaments are Saturday and Sunday tournament now starting in March and ending in October.
Most of the time the kimberly city ramp is padlocked/shut. Last time we put in there when we came back the thing was padlocked and we had to find somebody to open the darn thing. Do not know why the lock it up. Does anyone know?
We headed to Baldwin, Boy does there ramp suck over there. The architect should have been fired. Instead of sloping the part of the parking lot to the ramp slope, the lot pad is fairly level, then right at the water it slopes down at a pretty good grade. We watched several boat trailers drag really bad due to this bad work. Have not been there for 15 years.
Fishing we did real well. Had 17 bass. 1 over 5lbs almost a 6lber, 1 over 4lbs, 1 close to 4lbs, and a bunch of 2 to 3 lbers. All total was 17 fish. for 6 hours of fishing.
That said had a good day.
From how the sign reads, you can now idle your big motor on the lake. The lake opens at 8am to 4 pm. But the nice lady that happen to open the gate at 7am told us we could go ahead in.
Coopers BBQ in Llano, TX has lamb sometimes and Cabrito on Sundays and Mondays. Both are Unbelievably GOOD!
My Grandmother could cook Lamb like no other, I have ever had. Except for Cooper's BBQ
