When is the BPS suppose to open up at Lindbergh and Watson Rd. ? Does anyone know

I saw that Joe Bass will be doing their Antique Division next year out of Aloy's again. My fishing Partner and I want to fish it this year. Where do they put in at? Because I do not know of a Ramp there. Any help appreciated.

From Texas we know Chili. But I do use beans also. I also use a 50/50 mix of Ground Chuck and sweet italian sausage. I will post my recipe later today, for anyone to try.

( Question ) How would you seal this manual bilge pump in the hull. Silicone?, 4200 marine sealant? Or what? Thanks

I made it last week. Was a new recipe, I tried, It turned out Great. Had to leave out the Jalapenos because it would have been to hot for the wife. But it still had a little heat and was meaty and spicy.

Went down to the lake fish the green bridge area yesterday. Caught several nice fish for that lake and 6 or 7 little fish. Largest being right at 3 1/4 lbs. Had maybe 10 or 11 lb for 5 fish. Mainly went to the lake to make sure we had our leak that started letting water in the boat and auto bilge kicking in about every 2 hours. I tightened up all the clamps down in the hole and that appeared to have fixed the problem. While I was down in the hole though, I found that the tube coming off the manual pump had broken off some time. Now I have to take that pump out and replace it, with new. ( Question ) How would you seal this manual pump in the hull. Silicone?, 4200 marine sealant? Or what? Thanks

Well we got back from Mark Twain about 9pm last night. We had a good day, not great but good. Had a limit, maybe 12lbs, in the boat. Caught 14 fish all keepers, no dinks yesterday. Had 1, I went to hoist into the boat that would have gone a good 4 lbs, but the line broke in the hoisting. I knew better than to do it, but my partner is slowing in his age. Biggest fish was right at 3lbs. Some were caught on a square bill and the rest on worms, Texas rig. Saw a lot of shad in the coves, from the front of them to the backs of coves. Nothing boiling on them though. There were lot of crappie fisherman out and most were catching and not just fishing from what they told us. Lake is at least 6 ft low. water temperature was 56 to 58* All and all, Was a super nice day. Think Wappapella next week or the 1st week of November.

Has anybody had any luck finding any fall mushrooms this year.? I have not and I think it is due to such a dry, dry fall. What do you think?

Well we should have went to Mark Twain. We always do well there as we have the Twain pretty much figured out. It can be tough for most though. Lake Egypt was the worse day we have had over there. And after talking to others over there, we were not alone. No rain for several month's and 2 ft low. Just do not know what is going on.

Cannot go wrong with a Chuck Roast. No matter how you cook them, they are always good.

Decided to go to Lake Egypt tomorrow and save Mark Twain for Friday or Sunday next week. Will let you know how we did tomorrow on Monday.

Find a diesel performance shop in your area. Talk to them, most of them like those Fords-(Found on road dead) trucks. My dodge turbo went out, I upgraded the turbo and $4,600 bucks later I was running down the road.

Anybody been to Mark Twain lately. My fishing friend and I are thinking about making a run up there, Saturday for a day trip. Any Bass biting ?

Play ring around the rosy and wipe the boat down as soon as you pull it out with some Bass Boat Saver. And you will not have that ring.

Did you wrap them in newspaper or just store them in the garage? I have 2 windows in the garage so would the light bother them to ripen to fast?

I am up to my waist in tomatoes. I have just recently canned a bunch, made a double batch of Chow Chow, will be giving some to friends, as I have 18 quarts. And still have a bunch of green tomatoes. I usually or in the past have taken them, wrapped in newspaper and put in freezer. A friend said he takes them and wraps them in newspaper and puts them on the shelve in the basement. Do they keep well, this way? Any other suggestions on storing them.

We were there last week for 4 days. Fishing is a little tough for keepers. You can catch a lot of shorts though. Most of our fish were in 8 to 12 ft of water. Though we did talk to another guy and his wife and said they were catching shallow. Shad are maybe half way back in the coves, but had nothing chasing them.
