Congratulations! I haven't gotten to fish for walleye at Stockton yet this year. I was planning on going today, but the water report and boat traffic report made me change my mind and I went crappie fishing at the Muddy Mississippi, I am mean Pomme de Terre. We caught a few, but nothing like last week.
Great report and glad you are getting time to fish with your boys! I hope to get out again soon!
You are the first successful turkey hunter that I have heard about. Where I hunt, we have had multiple poor hatches and I am not even going this year. Hopefully the hatch this year will be better!
Nothing worth taking in my truck when I am fishing, but that is a bad deal. Hope everyone is catching a few fish, but have to admit that I am looking forward and hoping we get back to "Normal."
Very slow today, most of the fisherman came back without any crappie. I was like the 25th boat at Bolivar Landing at ~4pm, but everyone was gone well before dark. I was the last one to pull out.
Glad you are here. I don't have anything else to add to the above, but the advice is good. I did business with Johnie (Everharts) in the 80's and when it was all much smaller. He actually went to school with my parents. I haven't seen him there in a long time and have asked the last couple of visits. I am hoping to join the masses fishing soon as well.
I hope you keep fishing and keep the reports coming. The pictures on the lake make me want to go, but I am not very good with jigs and even worse with the winter time bite. I am hoping to get out in 3-4 weeks and try if they are still hitting. Thanks again for the report and the pictures!
You guys make me feel better. I caught 2 this evening, but it was a beautiful afternoon on the lake.
Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope everyone has safe travels!
