  1. I'll be there, along with Chief, his Dad, and KCRIVERRAT.
  2. Ok I'll divulge, although it ain't much. I'll have to go by memory because I don't want to go out to the truck and get all my crap out of my vest... Zebra midges, Pheasant tails,Hares ear nymphs, copper johns, several types of small jigs. Griffiths gnat, renegades, humpy's, stimulators, hoppers, crackleback, BWO's, PMD's, beetles,a few emergers and more that I can't remember.
  3. Brownieman, I wanna fish where you throw that "Super Spook". I would never have guessed that bait would ever be used for trout.
  4. Glad to hear it's working for you. I wish I could get my wife interested.
  5. Here is a great site for beginner fly tier's. It helped me a bunch when I really got into tying and I'm no where near good enough yet. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/
  6. Glad you like it Eric. I thought I would try something a little different.
  7. You are so right Ness. It had to be MOMO hitting the outside wall, because of the frustration he must have been feeling of not being understood. His ( MOMO's ) wife must be Buckshot's mother-in-law.
  8. Yeah, no problem Ness, Chief wears a small boot.
  9. Or, you could just find yourself a good fishing partner and not really have to worry about all of this stuff. Although, it is ALL good information. I just never really felt the need to float any streams by myself. If I want to go by myself I would just wade. I find it much more enjoyable with a good friend, and a whole lot cheaper.

    Olliefest 2009

Of course I'll be there. Looking forward to it.
  11. Just be sure you don't leave any banana's on your dash.
  12. I agree. I've been in a couple Old Town's this year and they are sweet rides for sure. Besides, I've never been a fan of aluminum canoes.
  13. Nice looking jig, I wouldn't mind having a couple too.
  14. It was good meeting both Russ and Ken, glad you both made it. Great chili Ollie, what can we expect for Olliefest? I do feel like the team has made a big difference with the overall appearance of the creek. The amount of beer cans was down from the ealier cleanups, but the last bit of high water tuned up a few things. One was a baby moon hubcap that was half rusted away, but you could just make out the letters " OLD" It had to be off a 50's model I'm guessing. As Ollie said, Thanks to all who have helped this year. Hopefully you guys will come back next year too.
  15. Sorry Wily, I must have missed this post. Sounds like you had a good time. I really need to get down there.

Ditto........... It was good meeting you and your boy's Wily. I'm looking forward to Oliefest too.
  17. That's a strange critter for sure. I thought I saw your pickup near the creek Thursday, if I hadn't been in a hurry I would have stopped by and said hi. I wonder what else we'll find in the creek today when we do our last cleanup of the year.
  18. Still here.

    Crane 10/17

Great report, thanks. Those Crane fish are sure fat and healthy right now. Nice fish.
  21. So very true.
  22. Well, Chief you beat me to it. I was going to say how you can put those things in the nastiest places and pull them right through the junk and usually catch a fish. I have never seen anything like it. All I find my self doing when I fish cranks is cussing those darn treble hooks. Give me a spinnerbait or jig anytime when it comes to fishing the wooly stuff.
  23. Gee Bill, I guess your just gonna have to get yersef some of them fancy Zebco 33"s and some of them Ugly Sticks if you wanna be a real guide.
  24. Looks like a logperch to me. I caught my first back in June on Flat Creek. http://ozarkanglers.com/forums/uploads/mon...58905_thumb.jpg
  25. Very good story. I can relate completely.
