  1. Well it sure is making me think. Will i have to remember to turn the livewell pump off when I run on plane or can it run dry for a while without harm? Thanks g
  2. Wrench, if the boat is on plane i do not think the thru hull would have access to water? Would that be an issue? I have been wrestling my old 87 champion so long that 350-400 is sounding rather reasonable. it is a flow rite, with the flapper that "auto" switches to recirculate when out of water (ha ha ha LOL) It looks much like the picture. Your drawing looks much more straight fwd. Thanks g
  3. fished around state park, just stupid green fish (2 keeps that were released) no crappie water temps 44.7-48, did not have the parking issues that appeared at son's creek, surely they were catching them. Better days ahead. \
  4. Usually the same time, more run up after a rain, keep walking up, past the bridge, park in the clinic lot above the bridge and walk back. take lots of hooks it is a hook eater. \ g
  5. Well, those who know me are aware I am quite frugal. I take old spark plugs and bend the gap closed, those are my bank sinkers, can likely hook you up with a sack full around any car shop for just a few odd looks???? g

  8. That's what the guy with the knife right by his anchor rope said, after i fished him out at Buffalo City. He "thought it would be faster" Just be careful with anchors on river. I tie mine with a break away, hard force it is loose. Do not want to drown for a $10 anchor. Seen too many boats down. g
  9. It's a math thing, like Pi r squared, is the area of a circle, 3.1415... Never understood that really, all the pies I ever had were round, cobblers were square?????? Spent a lot of time in the Principles Office. Happy Pi day...
