Reads just like what I would do, but without the tomato paste and I would use wine rather than vegetable broth. Yours will be outstanding! BTW, roasted parsnips are excellent with oxtail.

For me, it depends on the cut. I prefer thicker ribeyes than strips.

Came home late. Meal on the fly time. Shallots, garlic, cherry tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, Kalamata olives, capers, anchovy fillets, and herbs. Linguine and shaved Romano. What's not to love?

Pulled some pork shoulder roast, made a small sauce, and roasted some delicata squash given to us. That plus a small salad made a great meal tonight.

Love it! When you finish upgrades, please post again. -
Two related incidents. I was at Sportsmans Resort on the White in the late 1990's or maybe early 2000's. A guide had a party of two women and their husbands. He put the men in one boat and took the women in his. The men chose to fish the opposite shore from the guide and a dock ate their boat in medium flow. Only one came up. The guides face was something as we waited for the medics to come for the body. Around the same time, I was on the Norfolk with a friend. We took one side of an island and a boat behind us with a father ans two sons took the other. Our first clue of a problem was the cooler that floated past us. We went back and pulled one son and the dad out of the water. The second son made the bank. The bot, a rental was belly up in about 8 feet of water. Rivers are dangerous. Sadly, not all know this.

BLT's on ciabatta bread with an enhanced cream of mushroom soup tonight. No pictures, just yummy.

I pat dry and use a high temp safe cooking oil, but when the first side is done, I put a pat of butter plus salt and pepper on the cooked side. BTW, I like rare to medium rare. If you prefer medium rare to medium (pink but not red) bump your sous vide temp to 126 or 7.

I do not know one thing about installation. However, I do know you will love the units. I did not link the bow with the console. When you are on the bow platform, that unit will be your most accurate. When you are at the console, your stern transducer tells you the most. If you troll with your tm as I do, the both units, tracking separately, give you the best information. Just my 2 cents. Enjoy your set up!

I do not know Long Creek. Take that into account. Hot'N'Tots and warts are great trolling baits. You will need to let enough line out to tick the bottom but not plow the bottom. Start early and fish very shallow throwing something to the bank. By 9 or 10 am start trolling. Start at ten feet of water and make a pass on each side of a likely looking point or two. Move out to 15 feet. Then try 20 feet. Find a different point and start over. A wart on ten pound mono requires 180 feet of line out to hit 20 feet.and 95 feet to hit 15 feet. 40 feet for 10 feet. Reel one turn of the handle and count how many times the spool rotates. At the same time watch how much line one turn takes in. To measure the feet out watch the spool revolutions and due the math. This time of year, fish are scattered but not nearly as deep as in August. Best of luck to you.

I fished today. I applied techniques I read in other forums. No avail. Water temp 70 to 72. Mild wind I did see fish chopping bait very shallow, but a buzzbait netted nothing. I fished a Ned, a Neko senko, and craw on one of Bo's jigs. I trolled a Flicker Minnow 9 along shallow to deep breaks. What did I catch? Another catfish. This time a channel. Took forever to unhook and cost me a one of three tail hook barbs.

I am just now learning the lake. Zero help on the walleyes so far.

Windy, threatening to rain day here in Tulsa. So I put a thick pork shoulder steak in the egg to smoke about 10:30 this morning. Now at 4:30 the pig is in the "stall." I have chosen, like last time, not to wrap but to see it through. That way I have more burnt ends, my beautiful wife's favorite part.

In 2010 I had Hughes paint some Norman Top Dollars for me. I gave two away, one to a friend and one as a thank you. Two or three went away with nice fish that found timber. Another two found overhanging trees and I could not reach them. (The things sometimes fly in strange directions.) I busted one when I hit a bluff wall. I am down to three, I think, and dread the time when I will have none. Pradco is pond scum.

The wife and I attended a socially distanced block party of 10 tonight. Everyone brought a small side dish and their protein. I made fishburgers and peach salsa. I also brought the flat top and did the flipping. By the time I cooked our fishburgers, there was hardly enough peach salsa to introduce to the burgers. The beautiful wife made a cake with dreamsicle icing. Life is good.

Wet mushrooms or not, I approve!
