I am doing this a day early because I won't have time tomorrow. Everything was little day. The creek was little. The rod was little. The crankbait was little. The fish was little. The kids were little. But boy, that memory is huge!

Never understood why those for less and smaller government felt a need to control my what happens in my house. Unless it comes to guns. Then it is hands off huh? Or the amount of cola. The junk food. White bass season is upon us. This was from years ago at Grand Lake when I used to have a house dock down there. He was so proud of catching this "monster" fish. Same place, same day, working his magic for some perch action.

You're a day late. We were catching them on cranks two weeks ago in the rivers. The weather has kept me off of the water since then. Once they started biting, about noon time, it was game on. And they were very aggressive. Should be as good where you are headed.

You do realize it was humans that took those particulates out of the ground to put in the atmosphere to take back out of the atmosphere? So with that in mind, was the Earth on a cooling trend during the mini ice age of the 1300 to the mid 1800's? And then with new technology and the begining of massive use of fossile fuels, we humans changed the climate from a cooling trend to a warming trend? Of course not. We have our marching orders.

Read it again. It is farms in Missouri that are being hurt. Duh. And there is no semblance of any correlation between high fence ranches, trout parks and free roaming, wild spoonbill. Good luck with that one. Because you are now saying every fish cleaned, you must keep the eggs because a few find them delicious. Better go through all of those gut piles too. Lots of livers, hearts, and ribs left behind.

You think poaching spoonbill has stopped in Oklahoma? Far from it. You can Google any number of newspaper articles of poachers still being caught in Oklahoma. When you look at the OK regs, they created their own market free of any competition. I love spinnerbaits in ponds. That and plastic worms depending on how mossy it is. Is this a MDC pond??

Kids, creeks, and camping. This first photo was part of a 3 day 2 night trip that Fishinswmo and I took our boys on a year or two ago. They wanted to set some lines and do some catting. This was the bounty from the first night. A few weeks later, Dylan wanted to do some camping at a private area that some family friends own and where I used to camp by myself as a kid. I was all for it. The wife not so much. So after talking with my dad and showing her that there is not anyway some one could access the area very easily, its almost a mile from the road, she finaly caved. So we dumped Dylan and his friend Ian, Woundedone's son, off on Friday night and left them to have fun. Dylan caught one of the largest Redhorse's I have seen in a long time.

It is a great idea. I just want to add and you may already know this, but, add a cap to it. An unintended consequence has been birds getting into them and getting tangled up in the line and dying.

It was amazing how just flipping two letters really changed what was being said. You just had the "o" and "l" flipped in Erfolg. But it made a big difference.
